I'd say she was killed not long after her face was on every newspaper and news channel internationally

Is there any evidence for the whole "they sedated her and she accidentally overdosed" other than the fact they're doctors?

It's one you hear a lot, but seems to be based on very little.

Even if they weren't doctors, it would explain their trust in the fact that the children wouldn't wake up looking for them and be upset to find that they had in fact been left alone in an insecure property in a foreign country so that their parents could make merry with their friends.

The fact that they are doctors makes sedation slightly more probable. The fact that Kate acknowledges that Madeleine told her she had woken up crying the night before could explain an increase in dosage on the night she disappeared.

Nobody has ever suggested that they purposefully injured or harmed their daughter as far as I'm aware. Not even Gerry's sociopathic qualities would suggest that to me. A sociopath would have the arrogance to cover it all up though and convince others to do the same...a refusal to fail.

Not that I am that familiar with the case or anything, but do people have genuine reasons to suspect the parents that aren't tabloidy/a man down the pub said/a random website said type of thing? People take a perverse delight in assuming the worst of people.

There was a lot of jealousy and resentment that this couple from a working class background had pulled themselves up by their bootstraps to become respected medical professionals with a nice life and nice things.
People who just stayed where they are don't like upstarts

    Exactly,
    Works both ways as in,
It also would of came crashing down had
2 medical professionals been found guilty of over dosing one of there children.

Can you give us a link to where Gerry McCann is diagnosed as a sociopath or are you just the leading amateur psychologist on boards today (in other words you've just pulled this out of your arse)?

I remember the Europa League final a few years ago and the camera focused on a little girl in the crowd who looked very like Madeline. People were going a bit mad online over it. The game featured Benfica which would lend credence to the Portuguese connection and there was a striking resemblance.

Doesn't look much like her imo. Especially the eyes.

Do you think they Killed their daughter.

    Hid the body.

Rented a car several days later ( With media and police watching them 24/7 )

Put the Body in the car and disposed of it ( With media and police watching them 24/7 )

Don't see how they could have done the above.

Initial search of Portuguese Dogs( next day) had scent leading to Car park outside the Apartment.

Sadly I think that the little girl was kidnapped and may no longer be alive.

=(:-) Me? I know who I am. I'm a dude playing a dude disguised as another dude (-:)=

    I don't know what happened,
Is it coincidence that 2 cadaver dogs marked the same car?
Out of 10 cars they placed for the dogs to check that the first one picked their car? And a second dog also confirmed it?

Exactly, you don't know what happened either.

Do you have an explanation of why there was cadaver odour in a car they rented after the event?
Why there was cadaver odour noted by dogs at the apartment also and it was confirmed that there were no previous deaths at the apartment.

But they were being watched 24/7 when they rented the car.

How did they get the body from where they hid it,
    Place it in the car,
then dispose of it without been seen.

I'm curious how they could this.

Well infogiver, a fleeting scan of your previous posts revealed you are quick to get fired up...and also that you regularly write to your TD about injustices. We have a lot in common so.

A quick google will reveal that I am not the only one that sees sociopathic tendencies in Gerry McCann. That's not a diagnosis, no. He does display uncommon arrogance though you must admit.

If you want something more fact based, how do you explain Kate washing Cuddle Cat, Madeleines favourite toy? It is just completely unfathomable. Anyone who has lost someone (a child in particular) will cherish their smell on items of clothing, pillows etc, and in fact panic when it starts to fade.

There is absolutely no believable explanation for why it was washed.

I presume it doesn't have to be a body,
They could of had blankets or clothes they were wearing that night in the car also.

Yeah. I found it extremely odd when I heard she washed the toy.

was no evidence of any break in either, nothing. to me its more plausible that she died in the apartment, and was disposed off before the alarm was raised. how she died is a different matter. i dont believe the abduction theory given the complete lack of evidence for it.

    You know what I meant.

Coincidence then ? Their daughter went missing, and they hire a car with a previous dead body in it?

How many hire cars are used for carrying corpses around?

Didn't they leave the back doors unlocked to make the trip from the restaurant quicker for when they were checking up on them?

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

They left the doors unlocked in case of fire, I seem to recall reading.

The parents were negligent, absolutely no doubt about it. It was reckless and stupid to leave them unsupervised and it's a mistake that I'm sure haunts their every moment. Not only did they lose their child, the exposed their other two children to the same fate and have to live with what they lost and what they could have lost as well. They pay the price of that decision every day of their lives.

There isn't any evidence they killed their daughter or drugged their daughter. All the so-called evidence I've ever seen was open to interpretation. To have to deal with the accusations of having killed your child, on top of living with the consequences of your actions that led to her kidnap and almost certain death and any amount of horrors in-between, must be absolute torture.

People are quick to accuse them, in my opinion, because they're a pretty unlikable duo. They appeared cold and unemotional in the early days, and this damned them in the public perception. The fact that their profession trained them to keep calm in high pressure situations, coupled with the numbness of shock could easily explain their apparently detached behaviour, but there will always be people who can't see beyond the fact that they weren't falling apart - which is what most people would consider the 'right' way to react.

I don't think Madeline will ever be found alive, but sometimes miracles do happen. If she is, she will most likely have been through horrors that will take a lifetime to heal, if they ever do.

Whatever happened in that apartment that night one fact stands out very clearly to me. That fact is Gerry and Kate neglected and put in terrible danger each and every one of their children. Little Madeleine paid the highest price for their neglect and this in my eyes is 100% totally unforgivable.

That's what the police Inspector Amaral hypothesises in his book "The Truth of the Lie".

I don't know where I stand regarding who took Madeleine but I do believe the poor child is dead. My mind boggles at the thoughts of Gerry and Kate being involved because to continue such a charade for so long just seems implausible. Every now and then there are renewed efforts to find her. Surely they would be playing the "we need to accept she's gone" card if they were guilty.

By keeping themselves and Madeleine's disappearance in the public eye are they not also keeping the scrutiny on them alive?

In the crimwatch interview a few years ago Kate mentioned that Madeleine was very pale and washed out looking on that evening. Fairly neglectful to leave a sick child alone while you head out for the evening.

The public perception of the McCanns is reminiscent of another case, the Chamberlain case in Australia. A mother is considered too cold and unemotional, the press make much of her apparent detachment and lack of obvious grief, and she is found guilty on little or no evidence, serves many years in jail and many failed appeals before she's eventually exonerated. Deciding people are capable of murder because we don't like how they behave or think they're not crying enough is a dangerous game.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_of_Azaria_Chamberlain#Media_involvement_and_bias
Public and media opinion during the trial was polarised, with "fanciful rumours and sickening jokes" and many cartoons.[22][23] In particular, antagonism was directed towards Lindy Chamberlain for reportedly not behaving like a "stereotypical" grieving mother.

    Sounds familiar.
The mother's face says guilty to me. Always thought it.

Gerry and Kate are to blame one way or another. You don't go that far away from your children to meet with friends no matter what. They also met with The Pope not long after Madeleine went missing leaving their twins Sean and Amelia with others. How could they leave their children like that with everything that was going on.
