Id be more worried about Congress passing voter suppression laws on the back of voter fraud fervour whipped up by a sad old man trying to sooth his ego.

He can apologise if he's proven wrong (we both know he will not) but it may be too late by then.

A solution might be voter ID issued from the state by post automatically, the problem I guess it that is requires photo's and that's why it gets messy. A unique barcode or pattern could get around photo ID if it's linked to a central database.

But sure I dunno, I think it's dirty on both sides, with the stakes in play, it would be foolish to believe it isn't.

I doubt it's 50:50, but there's only one party closing down polling stations and implementing restrictions on voters.

And only one party where illegals would vote for them, and were encouraged to do so.

    Works both ways.

First time I heard they were encouraged to do so. Closest I heard was some complete idiot winding up his followers to go stare at anyone guilty of voting while looking foreign. Oh, that was the other guys.

Let's not false equivalence here. Sometimes there's no Democrat equivalent asshattery to bring up. I'm sure it goes the other way around too, but not in this case.

    Are illegals encouraged to vote?

Meanwhile, over at the UN the new ambassador has said...
“Our goal with the administration is to show value at the UN and the way that we’ll show value is to show our strength, show our voice, have the backs of our allies and make sure that our allies have our back as well,” Haley said.

“For those that don’t have our back, we’re taking names, we will make points to respond to that accordingly.”

You can take what he said later in that interview, but the fact is he was asked if people who are undocumented should be in fear of being prosecuted if they vote, and Obama said no.

"On the picture ID, the one thing I have thought of in that space is that if you show up on Election Day with a drivers license with a picture, attest that you are a citizen, you have a right to vote in Federal elections."

    John Podesta

    https://wikileaks.org/podesta-emails/emailid/17088

Edit: I don't think Trump would win the popular vote or get close regardless of some investigation, some of the areas with high density are highly democratic. But what I do think is if illegals did vote, there was only candidate they could vote for.

This Voter ID thing really annoys me.. You have Irish people here arguing against something they would find totally unacceptable to not have in Ireland.

I mean, there is absolutely no way you could think it's a bad thing unless some left-leaning media told you it's bad. And the only reason they're telling you it's bad is because it's bad for them.

And honestly, if a US citizen in incapable of getting an ID during their lifetime, they don't deserve to have a damn vote. They're obviously not part of the system anyways.

"But it affects old black people." So what. It's 2017. Get it together America. You're the leader of the free world with a voting system comparable to a banana republic and half your population defends it knowing that illegals vote on their side.

As is becoming more and more usual, RT has better coverage.

Surely you must know your source is complete and utter fear-mongering garbage when they have to fill their short article with reports of what was written in an op-ed and don't post any actual details of this upcoming nuclear war.

Enjoy the fear. Bathe in it. Let it control and unite you.

China is the one disestablishing the area. Did japan not vote to have an actual overseas military.

UPDATE: In a statement to RIA Novosti, the Chinese Foreign Ministry called media reports on China’s deployment of ballistic missiles to the Russian border “speculations and crude guesses.”

This is from RT - the Russian propaganda tool, note they don't reject the "speculation" and "crude guesses".

All media is a propoganda tool.

You linked to a British anti-Trump newspaper which is blowing everything out of proportion so they can blame him. I linked to a newspaper from a country that has just had nukes moved to its border but manages not to resort to hysteria.

Hmm.. Which should I trust. The fear-filled or the fact-filled. Such a hard choice.

And your "note" is nonsensical. You seem to expect a country to make official statements on exactly what they're doing with nuclear weapons. That's not how the world works.

I would never take anything seriously from RT. this was the end game from china on the SCS. They have a villain they can point to all the while building islands destabilizing the are. I would be watching Japans Response to this. Japan will fight to the last man woman and child. Nukes has been the only option on them. China understands this.

Eh, they were seen and photographed being moved. The US has missiles in silos and subs (some of which are undetectable). Bit harder for the Chinese to hide movement.

    Again not denied.

Or should we get in to the world of "alternative fact"?

it's nothing to do with America this. It's all about the SCS. And China. Japan legislated to have an army capable of invasion. And occupation. China is playing with fire. There is a deep hatred of each other. China probably still wants payback from WW2. Japan Cant loose face.

If it's about Russia, fair enough. But when it comes to world events, they seem fine. When it comes to American politics, they're usually less biased and more hard-hitting than any other English coverage.

I don't actually go to their website to check the news. I just land on it now and then and always wonder why people hate it for being biased when every newspaper is.

The BBC is a national newspaper, just like RT.

That's fair enough. But I do watch RT from time to time.. it's fox news. Far to much pro Putin to get passed if they actually have a legitimate point.

Yeah I don't even read them if there's stuff about Putin. But I do watch videos of him speaking if they have it. For such a villain, he isn't shown much in our media.

Edit: I think it's because of how intelligent he comes across to be honest.. Compared to Enda, May, Trump etc. he really does look like a world-leading politician when he speaks. It's just better to not show him.

I love is fake heavy Russian accent. When speaking English. He can clearly speak it fluently.

2 people I would love to hang out with if there was zero danger would be a USA president and Putin. I bet Putin would be great crack with his access to anything.

I'm sorry, but do you actually believe voter fraud is a real issue in the US and if so, do you have any real research to back this up?

The Voter ID requirements that were introduces in certain areas had NOTHING to do with fears of voter fraud and EVERYTHING to do with making it harder for certain demographics to vote.

I'd imagine you're very aware of this and are being facetious for the sake of it.

Trump has also that Alpha male personality.

He has been highly successful in his life. He has overseen the creation of power and wealth over the past 40 years.

While he was a good looking man in his youth, we don't have to think too deeply as to why the current first lady got with him when he was in his 50s.

    Women love power and wealth.

I think Trump makes lesser males feel inadequate. Men who don't have his charisma or vast wealth.

The Beta Male. The weak good guy, the loser.
