It's true, I thought you could enter at checkout but if the driver accepts them then that's OK too.

It's a good idea to write your order number on the back of the voucher as one time I had to chase after them after the driver forgot to return the voucher to the person in the store responsible for processing online refunds.

Self check out is store dependent. Never any issues in Maynooth, refused in Lucan - not tried elsewhere.

I find it's very much self-checkout supervisor dependent!

Poster asked about using the number online

They asked if they can be used for online shopping and they can. You told them they can't. I corrected you.

Does anyone know if Dunnes vouchers can be used for online Tesco shopping? Like entering the number.

If you read their post you'll see they asked if you could use the voucher online by entering the number, they didn't ask about giving them to the driver. And you cannot use them for online shopping by entering the voucher number online. Yes you can give them to the driver but that's not what was asked.

    Friends?:pac:

Yes they do. They might claim they don't, but they do. Its up behind the Customer Care desk on a big blue and white board. Its at the very bottom, normally conveniently covered up, bit it's there.

on facebook I see tesco ireland say (back in 2014)
You would get double the difference back on if you were overcharged for them in store. However, if you scanned the items yourself, you wouldn't.

    Kind regards
    Danny - Customer Care
    which is crazy

    Wrong.
You've clearly never been in my local Tesco.

If my local didn't I'd be asking on facebook or twitter if it is the policy in that store, and if not why not. From reading previous threads it seems there are dodgy rogue managers out there.
