    No I meant cheat on. I'm wondering if he's made a conscious decision to move to the city in order to be free to cheat on a partner he has yet to meet, or if he's taken his existing partner to the city in order to get away with it.

    That was me btw.

    the objective is usually to find someone, as opposed totrying to find someone to cheat on! So neither, now that I've been dumped.

    In my 20s, I thought cheating was terrible.
    In my 30s, when I saw how many of my friends were at it, I became less judgemental, their decision, consenting adults etc. etc.
    In my 40s, I'm find I am becoming judgemental again. It is their decision...but it is undeniably ugly.

    I don't like the tone of your post,If you feel the need to cheat maybe how about leaving the relationship,Yes it can be complex if children,property,animals are involved.
    However there is no excuse.

    I got caught once. My fiancee was on her hen night and decided to leave early to come back to mine. She caught me mid stroke with a colleague... She broke it off immediately after that.

    We used to work together as well, but she quit her job and had started out on her own. She's a lawyer and is operating out of the back of some cafe down there in the docks, doing alright for herself I believe.

    As for me, I've tried to win her back but she's having none of it. I do miss her though

    I haven't got caught cheating but I was caught with a fella who was cheating because he brought me back to his house, seriously stupid move. His girlfriend worked nights but came home sick.
