Oh memes, that's me convinced. What else does 4chan have for us?

Can you not see the irony in blaming the FBI?

Who said anything about hacking voting machines?

Plenty in the media propagated that story.

It's going to be interesting watching the alt right and their fellow travelers try to spin Trump in power.

What about the FBI? What is 4chan saying about it now? I don't go to those kinds of alt right places so you'll have to fill us in on your travels across the internet.

In Hank's defense while I couldn't disagree more with him on most of everything, I did point him to the alt right subreddit (quit separate to 'The_Donald' one) a few weeks back in one of the politics forum threads, and his take on them was (to paraphrase) "that scum can f*** off and die".

Now true he was bringing up 4chan earlier and has I believe said he doesn't have much issue with The_Donald subreddit, but those two for my money tend to be largely trolling and an immature lack of any kind of forethought on full display, where as the "real" alt right (as opposed to the "alt lite" is a white supremacist movement of incredibly scummy proportions that is attempting (and in many cases, succeeding) in masking itself in the sheep's wool (relatively speaking) of the gobsh*terry typically seen on the other ones. I just think it's incredibly important to distinguish the alt-right for what they really are (and indeed many alt-rightists are members of 4chan and The_Donald), and to make sure not to do their work for them by blanketing them all in together, ala Clinton's "basket full of deplorables" comment.

For reference - pay attention to the content and perhaps more importantly, the tone of the following three:
    4chan - http://boards.4chan.org/pol/
    The_Donald - https://www.reddit.com/r/The_Donald/
Alt-Right - https://www.reddit.com/r/altright/ (there's a reason this is the only one with an age wall!)
***NSFW Warning: The alt-right one typically has some seriously bad stuff you probably don't want employers confusing you as interested in.

The CIA are very worried about Trump's tendency to "shoot from the hip" type of communication, there is a real risk that he could blurt out something that has dire consequences for people or countries.
    http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-38630016
Outgoing CIA Director John Brennan has warned US President-elect Donald Trump to avoid off-the-cuff remarks once he takes office.
He said spontaneity was not in the interests of national security.
Mr Trump is known for regularly making broad pronouncements on issues of national importance on his Twitter feed.
Mr Brennan also said that Mr Trump did not fully appreciate Russia's capabilities or intentions.
"I think Mr Trump has to understand that absolving Russia of various actions that it's taken in the past number of years is a road that he, I think, needs to be very, very careful about moving down," he said.
Careless talk costs lives, still true today.

The only question is how much will the GOP put up with before The Donald is sent packing.

Agree with almost all of that, although I would hold the donald in higher regard than a bunch of immature people or whatever. It was the best resource out there during the campaign for mining the Wikileaks releases.

I don't visit 4chan or any alt right sub reddit/forum just to clear it up. Appreciate the comment.

No, I am taking the evidence to date and using that as a basis to judge possible intentions.

Trump openly distrusts the media, sees many of them as his enemy. He opted out of any press conferences for 6 months preferring to deliver his own message unquestioned.

What makes you think he suddenly cares for the media, for that is the excuse team Trump is pushing?

The Donald subreddit is now basically an expanded version of Trumps Twitter. Same kind of childish posts and insults.

If they aren't his enemy why did the majority of them conspire against him to try get his opponent elected?

I'm with you on this though, there needs to be a free press, regardless of how biased it is.

It would appear that amazon has sold out of books by Representative Lewis. He's seen an 100,000% increase in sales. All because Trump picked on him.

    https://news.vice.com/story/trump-insults-civil-rights-hero-john-lewis-cancels-mlk-plans
Since Lewis’ comments and Trump’s response, sales of two of the Georgia lawmakers’ books, “Walking with the Wind: A Memoir of the Movement” and “March,” a graphic-novel trilogy about the civil rights movement, have gone through the roof, spiking by more than 100,000 percent, the Atlanta-Journal Constitution reported. As of Sunday morning, both were listed as temporarily out of stock by Amazon.

Trump was also supposed to visit a civil right centre for MLK day but has cancelled it.

He can be impeached which strikes me as inevitable given the daily diet of skullduggery and his conflicts of interest.

I find it hard to believe that he is stupid enough to get caught, after all he has a good legal team (allegedly) who are well aware that every attempt will be made to dethrone him.

And Andrea Bocelli pulled out of performing at the inauguration after receiving death threats from the regressive leftists.

    Orange pilled.

The unelectable candidate won the popular vote and lost the electoral college by under 100,000 votes with the FBI and Russia actively working against her after decades of harrassment by at least 1 'major' news network and tens of millions of dollars in taxpayer-funded congressional witchhunts. Very electable.
    Didn't happen.

The peril is the loss of character in America, the ignorance and anti-intellectualism that's pervasive. It's a society that gets its guidance from Toddlers in Tiaras, Duck Dynasty and Keeping up with the Kardashians.

She had a pro Clinton media, a man with no political experience making mistakes on the hourly basis as her opponent, The Obamas campaigning for her pretty tirelessly with an absolute huge war chest.

And she she still lost, and to quote Jonathon Pie....

"Trump the pussy grabbing, wall building, climate change denying, healthcare abolishing, tax dodging, **** spewing demagogue, how **** do you have to be to lose to that?"

She lost which should have been an easy election, she and the dems deserve plenty of criticism for losing this election.

How do you know who made the threats? Aren't the CT types all over 'false flags?' Cuts both ways - it was the neonazi/altwhatevers that did it. There ya go.

Prob the same people who sent death threats to the electors.

Just reading the stories about Trump's interview with Michael Gove this morning. It's like Putin has given Donald a script and he is now reciting it like an obident lapdog. To quote a Trumpism, such a tainted President to be.

Totally awake- just playing the CT card they like to play on the alt-right.
"Hey, how do you KNOW, could be a false flag!"
Besides, isn't it o.k. given all the death threats sent by the alt-right in this cycle? Julia Ioffe jumps to mind (https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2016/apr/28/julia-ioffe-journalist-melania-trump-antisemitic-abuse) and the abuse she received included that alt-right favorite, anti-semitism.

Plus, Bocelli did get huge, seemingly legitimate feedback about his real fans dropping him, so maybe this was really about the Benjamins, not anything else. But at least Toby Keith and someone from American Idol will be there.

On the very last day of the election, Trump tweeted a couple of hours before for a extra stop in Michigan and 40,000 people showed up at 1am for his final rally. I think the high energy was the main reason he won.

You can blame the FBI and what not, but none of that would have happened if his opponent wasn't doing shady things. Only have themselves to blame.
But, the opponent WAS electable. That was my issue with the original post - when you win the popular vote but lose by 100,000 key votes in the EC, you're obviously electable.

Al Gore was electable for comparison. Anyway, the election doesn't matter anymore, it's over.

Because idiots who support Trump do it, it's fine?

It's not fine on either side, to pretend groups like the alt regressive left aren't just as nasty and vile as groups like the alt right just isn't right.

No the poster is making fun of the cters from the Trump side and not saying the death threats are ok.

I wouldn't directly compare them with the alt right given aside from this (which is pretty bad) the worst the thread on crazy left wing people comes up with is some students asking for something silly.

I do hope the threats can be tracked and those locked up for a long time.
