One thing the conference and the treehouse has done, it's made me excited to play my Wii U this weekend

Mario Kart 8, Mario 3D world, Splatoon and my VC games like Street fighter 2!!

I just got a call from Gamestop. They've been told by HQ to ring everyone who has preordered and insist on a €50 deposit (instead of €20).

I've paid €20, so they want me to come in and pay the balance...

The reason is there must be a real shortage being allocated. So €50 dropped on it means you won't just ignore it. I wonder if you ordered online like I did will they cancel your order??

I don't really get why they want another €30...I mean, it can't make that much of a difference really. Unless they want to really hook the people who're desperate for the console at launch, have limited consoles and want to exploit the impatience of certain consumers for more money. Though given how little they make off of console sales, that seems unlikely.

Nope, and not going to invest at this rate...

I may just wait until Mario Odyssey comes out, I've waited long enough for Zelda, what's another few months...

I could ask my nephew for a loan of his Wii U...

It's like we said earlier in the thread, 2 million units across US,Japan, and EU is nothing really. It's no wonder individual shops would sell through their allocations quick, amazon is already out of the grey console.

Yup It was fun in here till the haters arrived this morning. was good fun last nite 😀 if ye dont like then dont buy or just wait till Xmas 17 there be load more post e3 nintendo games and 3rd party stuff.

In the space of 6-8 months we have Best Zelda ever. My fav mariokart ever and bold new Mario Sandbox game along with Splatoon2 and god knows what else. Fifa is fun for those u like And all this on the go... Time to calm down and enjoy whats there and if not ur cup of tea then how bad. Get PS4

The hands on from various websites have been mostly very positive. A lot saying that Snipperclips is a surprise hit. The Joy-Cons seem to be surprising people as well, lot of talk about their very unique feedback.

Pro Controller also seems to have motion controls and possibly HD rumble as well, although I haven't seen that confirmed yet.

Oh give over. There's not a single person here who wants to see Nintendo fail and calling people haters just makes you look silly.

The fact of the matter is that the Switch is launching with a very, very slim line-up, there's going to be a drought on games on it for the forseeable future and the most enticing releases for it, will also be available on Nintendo's previous generation of consoles.

Catching up on the Posts today.

32GB Storage. Same as WiiU. Im fine with that.
I have 30 Wii U games and no HDD or SD and guess what ut works fine. Switch Gamecards mean u wont need install games. Quick loand times. And if needed SD cards are cheap or throw 2TB HDD into USB 3.0 on the dock.

As for Battery. 3 hours is not ifeal but im chuffed to be able to take AAA Zelda in a handheld that nearly sane size as my S7.

As for price moanin. Yes its a stupid price but everyone been fine if it was 250e. Thats only 80e too expensive. Get over it.

It technically comes with 2 Joypads. A TV screen. A Battery in a tiny portable form factor. Try bring ur PS4 on a train. First ull have to bring ur TV too. And have 2 Plug dockets as they dont have battery power. My Switch will. Only worst case scenario means i need Usb 3.0 nearby while played Tablet mode or bring a battery pack if need longer.
