No Capcom announcement of a fighting or scary game.

There was a fancy looking SFII in there, in the sizzle reel.

The fact that there's three new Dragon Quest titles coming should mean the Switch is going to shift serious numbers in Japan.

I'm happy with basically one SKU. I imagine more launch stuff will be confirmed in the morning/in the treehouse.

    Watching IGN's post presentation reaction.

I'm happy that Zelda is out on launch day but I don't think they really showed enough details.

    Storage.
    Graphics capability.
    Gamecube library.

    A strange presentation.

Focussing on the consoles unique features, and some games I would say.
I'd say there will be loads available today, outside of the presentation. Now back to bed, get an hour or more before work!!!

I think I have been convinced to hold out and just get Zelda for Wii U.

    :(

You'll start seeing a good bit of stuff come out now that the presentation is done. List of launch games etc, other games by developers.

    Fantastic looking Mario game
    Xenoblade 2
    Atlus game with Unreal engine
    FIFA
    Zelda at launch

The Joy-Con use is pretty interesting, I just hope they come up with innovative ideas for it in full scale games.

Was hoping to see a small bit more from the console itself. UI was probably too much to ask for. But small things like how quickly you can go from playing undocked to docked. Can you use bluetooth headphones. Spotify or similar streaming service, virtual console to name but a few.

I'm impressed but nothing surprised me.

Very happy with the games shown, more than enough for the coming year. However, would love to have seen more! Hopefully we'll get more concrete info over the weekend or next few days.

    I'm off duty today
    Plus I turn 45!
    So I'm old
And have 10 years to go before retiring as a nurse!
And now I can fill those years with Switch games!

I don't want to poke holes in it but a quick montage of 3rd party stuff would have sufficed without people talking and showing nothing as to what they're developing later in the year/2018.

It's time that they could have gotten into the nitty gritty of what the hardware is capable of considering the price of it.

    Mario Kart for April.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe: With Nintendo Switch, fans can enjoy the definitive version of Mario Kart 8 anywhere, anytime, even with up to eight friends in local wireless multiplayer. All your favorite tracks and characters return from the Wii U version, plus all DLC tracks and characters, and new characters join the roster, too: Inkling Girl and Inkling Boy from Splatoon, as well as King Boo, Dry Bones and Bowser Jr.! Plus, Battle mode has been revamped and includes Balloon Battle and Bob-omb Blast, with new courses such as Urchin Underpass and Battle Stadium, and returning ones like GCN Luigi’s Mansion and SNES Battle Course 1. Players can now carry two items at a time, including new items returning from previous Mario Kart games such as Boo (the item-stealing ghost) and the Feather, which gives players a high jump in Battle mode. Players can even choose to use a new Smart Steering feature, which makes driving and staying on the track easy for novice players and kids, even at 200cc. Play in TV mode in up to 1080p. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe launches in April.

I thought it was a mixed bag. They left out a tonne of information.

The joycons look great and Arms with mate while having a few beers will be hilarious. Would have loved to see Mario kart but happy enough

Feck that means €350 here

They kind of built this up, with talk of hardware surprises and there really wasn't any.
We got a better look at the hardware, not much though.
We got a look at more games, but a limited one at that.

I think there was tons to like but felt a little deflated, right up to the Zelda trailer.
    That perked me up!
But do need to see where their account system is going.
What will the subscription pay for.
They will have to deliver a competing feature like Games With Gold/ PS+ games, it could be very interesting, particularly if they can start a monthly trickle of VC/Classic Nintendo titles to people that pay.

I'm still sold on it, can't wait!

Battle Mode and 1080P, that is me sold!!!

    Watching the trailers here now

That's a woeful price if it turns out to be that.

Disappointed in the conference to be honest.

Not enough games shown even for future release.

No interest in the Wii type games with motion controls.

Sounded like there is little 3rd party games on the horizon.

Can't believe Zelda (a game coming out on Wii U) and "1, 2, switch" are the only 2 announced launch games.

    Probably €300-320 here so.

8 player local play would have some great beat em up potentials, pokemon too could very much utilise this.

    This is a problem
It's more expensive than the New 3DS XL
It's more expensive than both the standard PS4 and XBOne.
And I'm really not sure this is a good thing at all.

A €350 Switch is at least €100 too much for many, especially non Ninty adherents.

It has to be said that the Nintendo Official Store is always at the highest and beyond prices on stuff especially conversions, so will wait to see on that.

I really like the Joy-cons, Mario, Zelda. Xenoblade 2 will be great too but seen very little. Nothing other than a short CGI trailer of Fire Emblem Warriors.

No specs, OS, VC, storage, cartridges and more.
