CNN got their ass handed to them in the press conference.

Can't wait for the day someone here does the same to the liberal leftie media in RTE and the Irish Times.

Bias I will agree with. (Which is what you have switched to). Out and out fake news on the level Trump has gotten into a.k.a the man who keeps accusing them of fake news (generally incorrectly)? Nope. Or Breitbart who are a media group Trump seems to support.

Bias would be only promoting one side of a story instead of having both sides represented as RTE and BBC tend to do for the most part over here. Editing video footage to alter the details of what actually happened is outright falsifying the facts.

Trump along with so many other media outlets, calling them and Buzzfeed out on running fake news stories when they keep running fake news stories is not the issue but merely the after effect of there actions.

Who said anything about politicians ? We're talking about the media.

Well this is the Trump thread and the poster is right that Trump is a complete liar. Strange given how much the poster has supported and defended him.
I was for Trump over Hillary. I don't think he is the next Hitler, of course he tells lies, he wanted to get elected, you have to tell lies to get elected, it is called politics. It has been like this since the days of Attius Varus. Corruption, lies, deceit, power, that is what politics is about.

Refusing to answer a perfectly legitimate and valid question is now getting your ass handed to you?

Not really, he just refused to answer questions he didn't like. Aside from that there was no ass handing on either side.

Got their ass handed to them by him refusing to answer one of their people and then answer a question from another CNN journalist instead ? :D

the thing about Trump is that if he is criticised he can just say its the liberals and the liberal media are out to get him. And his followers are prepared to believe that all the time

Denzel Washington was right, journalism is awful right now. It is all about first, not what is true or even a good debate, clicks, views, being first, are all that matter.

4Chan also lies. Seriously any proof for this claim people who are so critical of msm are willing to take as face value?

Actually just checking the transcript of what the woman in the riots said it does appear to be calling for calm and giving out to people for burning stuff down. Which is what cnn said. I can't find a serious source on the cameraman thing. Guess it is possible but surprising I can't find a big name involved.

Given your previous list of fake news had issues possibly you should check your own sources first.

Sad fact is cnn are one of the best in the states.

Why is Trump standing at a podium with a "No Entry" sign on it? :P

On a plus side the hotel room incident might endear Trump to Merkel.

I suppose it isn't helped when the media are caught being liberal with the truth.

Heres the British Intelligence briefing about what the Russians have got:

"Interesting if true" would be an understatement!

The Wall Street Journal has named the ex-British Intelligence officer who compiled the report and gave it to the FBI.

Trumpski is a walking clusterfuk :) Looking forward to this muppet bouncing from issue to issue for the next 4 years. And then there's all the space cadets he's put in positions providing some more comedy relief.

What was that quote from Yes Minister?

I suspect it's past time to be paying more attention to Vice-President-For-Now Pence. I strongly suspect the inauguration will go ahead before the GOP really go for Trump. They won't risk losing the White House now.

Also, excuse me if I'm rather cynical at some of the more hysterical denials going on. I would bet my life that the same people would be straight on the attack and utterly convinced if it was about Clinton. I am so-so on some of the details, but I lean towards it being probably fairly true. The dossier was sent to the FBI some 18 months ago, before Trump was a serious candidate. Also we -know- that the Republicans were getting information from somewhere, probably the FBI, but certainly somewhere. Remember Rudy Guiliani making his comments about the email review before the FBI even announced it? More adds up than doesn't, albeit it's circumstantial.

    It certainly bears investigating though.

I notice the people arguing against this dossier being true don't seem to have applied a similar standard to the claims that 4chan made the entire thing up. In spite of the obvious amount of bull involved in it.

How many people on this forum actually believe anything they see on BBC news or Sky News or RTE news these days? I don't believe in any of them.

    You don't say!

If you did, you might be a tad better informed.

    So do you believe anything?

Generally I believe them. Depending on the subject. I try and multiple sources and see how it is reported, how much bias it seems to have and what people involved are saying (generally interviewed).

You say you don't believe anyone but as I said the outcry against the existence of this latest dossier is coming from people who have not argued against the 4chan story...
