Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Galway city ring-road

    Hi can someone tell me when is this Ring Road similar to M50 going to be built around the Galway City? The traffic congestion is a joke for such a small City :/

    2024 if there are no further objections.

    but i'm sure some person that lives in Dublin will find a reason to object and delay or possibly scrap the project.

    Sometime after the Cork to Limerick motorway.

    Depending on how many decades until you retire, you may not see it.

    What gives you that idea? The Galway ring road was given the green light for funding while the Cork-Limerick upgrade has not been prioritised.

    Have you tried cycling? I commute by bike (10km each way). Much more enjoyable and stress free than driving.

    Moved from Galway to Infra
    When this road is actually happening we can chat in Galway city forum. Right now we have enough threads on how bad the traffic is, we don't need another one.
