Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Stephenl15's winless run continues and he is out barring a miracle. Skippy44 goes top and faces Alchemist33 next in a massive tie. Dahat is up against Stephenl15 while I sit this gameweek out.

All very close, low scoring teams this week. I finally managed to register points this week though which makes a pleasant change (sorry Mike).

No worries, having started with 2 wins, it's all after going pear shaped

Lads, will be in Anfield on Sunday watching captain Mane destroy West Ham reserves defence

Will be Tuesday night before I get a chance to update Group G scores

OK so the match could have gone better !!

Thanks to Colking for updating group G scores

    GROUP B GAMEWEEK 16 STANDINGS

Klopparama is qualified bar something crazy happening.

Mike Ehermantraut had a good win this week to move into second place.

Manual Man had a very tough loss and a score of 66 this Gameweek would have been sufficient to win the tie against the vast majority.

Dasa29 is leading third place with the best points differential and a game in hand.

    No problem at all :

First of all you need an image capture tool. I use "Snipping Tool" which is standard on any windows based operating system. If using windows : Type "snip" into the search programs and files text box (click on windows icon bottom left of your screen)

With this you can select the part of the screen you want to capture by dragging a box around it.

Then you need to save this image-capture/picture.

The second major thing is to find somewhere to host your image so that you can link to it using bb codes etc. (Don't worry, it might sound complicated but is very easy). The place I host images is a website called imgur. You will need to create an account.

Once you have your account created you can then upload the screen capture picture you saved. It provides you with a very simple and easy to use sidebar that lists a bb code link that you can copy.

    dGTv5rB.jpg

You paste this link into a Boards reply and it automatically displays the image you originally saved.

Am I missing something or why do people bother with using other sites to host images when boards does it for you?

Go to manage attachments below the text box when posting, or click the paperclip.

Browse and upload image. Open the uploaded image in a browser, copy and paste the address.

Jesus, it was a miracle I won this week. I was fully expecting my score to be hammered. Stephen was unlucky to have been drawn against dahat.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 42,164 ✭✭✭✭Scorpion Sting

Myself and Skippy had almost the exact same starting 11s. The only difference was his Matip for my Friend. Matip didn't play so Koné came off his bench with 6 points to take the victory. If Friend had started, he would have gained at least 5 points more so I would have drawn at worst. In the other tie, stephenl15 won for the first time but too little, too late at this stage.

Group A is ridiculously tight, somebody might sort it for me and post it please:
    Patmac 6 4 2 0 358 310 48 12
    Boots234 6 4 2 0 342 332 10 12
    KevIRL 7 3 4 0 359 349 10 9
    Lucas Hood6 3 3 0 286 324 -38 9
    zarquon 7 2 5 0 380 410 -30 6

Zarquon has been unfortunate, the highest scorer with the fewest points, somebody might check for errors.

Have you factored in my 3 point autosub?

I'm out as Stephenl15 produces a scintillating 79 points to send me packing. Alchemist33 goes through to the knockout stages along with Skippy44 as Dahat offered no threat with his 52 point hit.

If somebody could add the Group A results:

    PATMAC 54 KevIRL 72
    Lucas Hood 45 Boots234 75
I think this means Boots234 is through and I need to avoid a defeat and I will Join him.

Group G updated in spreadsheet if someone could copy in here

Swiper unlucky - same points as KM79 but -4 transfer so a 4 point defeat and out of the running

KM79 and myself through to knockouts I think, but feel free to double check

KevIRL looks in trouble but Lucas Hood can do him a favour with a 3 point or more win.

Invincible Klopparama is obviously through. Intriguing below that though as any of the other four could make it. Colking plays a waiting game while dasa29, thanks to the goal difference advantage could sneak it with a win over Klopp's boys, who will surely rest a few!! :)

Busts had burst across the line with his fine recent form.

I've just seen the above post about ties, so depending on that my last couple of updates may be invalid. I was assuming it would be Points Difference seeing as we're going to the bother of calculating it.

If so, Prodston needs results elswhere to go in has favour, as Pts Diff would see GLaDOS go second with a win over Wonski. Missing Links would need to hammer Busts to be in with a very outside chance.

See above, cant remember but I always assumed it would as in the normal Champions league or any round robin stage, that why I set up the sheet to work it out. Will read back.

The group stages will be run over 10 Gws. We will play each team in your group twice. The group stages start on GW10 and will run every GW till GW 19.
The top 2 in each group will qualify for the last 16. Knockout stages apart from the final will be over 2 legs. Ill decide on all the gws for that before the group stages are over. My thinking would be to not include and gws that will have blanks for those games. Gw 20 will be used for playoffs if teams finish level on points. 3 pts for a Win and 1 for a draw.
My hardworking assistant FHFC will be along early next week with the fixture list. An engraved trophy for the winner and the hope would be we could run this every year. Great work by all we have raised a considrable amount of money.

This is all I can see on the other thread. Up to you, I'm easy. And I say that not having updated my own group so no idea where it stands.

Proudly propping up the table, hopefully thats FHFC's only time in that position over the next year!

Iroced is in a strong position, but tom_k and mno101 can make it a three way tie with wins.

Thats gonna be awkward if you end up with a 3 way tie which is possible in Group D at least.

Maybe the highest scorer out of the 3? Also it could be 3 way tie for second in Group A if Lucas Hood beats me in the final game.

By the way. For those of you wondering about the money raised (which at this stage I'd assume is all of yous!).

Disneyland was great, it was a bit cold but the kids had a ball!!! :D

Seriously, I've been meaning to post this for ages....I sent it off around October and it took them a good while to reply, as thankfully this end of the year is quite busy in their fundraising dept.

I'm easy whether its gd or a playoff. If its a 3 way playoff the top 2 scorers of gw 20 go through so not a problem. Or if its a 3 way playoff for 2nd the highest scorer will go through.

Yeah either will work. Goal Diff was obvious to me and never considered anything else. I had also thought it went straight to the knockouts, didn't realise we had a spare week. Woulda been a simpler spreadsheet if that wasn't needed.

It's irrelevant to me so whatever people prefer.
