    Final Account for FSA Charity CL.

    Anyone who entered was sent a receipt reference by PM confirming their donation. These reference are below so anyone can see that their donation has been included at the correct amount. Receipt reference numbers are random an not exactly in order of entries received.

    Once we see what we are doing about a trophy etc I'll confirm arrangements to make the donation to the Galway Hospice.

    Im looking at having 6 groups. 4 will have 6 teams in them and 2 will have 7 teams in them. In the group stages everybody plays each other twice. This will be run off 10 gws starting from GW 10. For the 2 groups of 7 there will be a team every week having 2 h2h fixtures. For the knockout stages 16 will qualify the top 2 in each group . The 6 3rd place teams will all go up against each other in gw 20 with the 4 highest scores getting through to the last 16. Knockout rounds are 2 legs apart from the final. The draw wont be seeded so will hope to have that done in the next day or two. We will have a trophy engraved for the winner. Well done to all we have raised a nice few bob. Thanks again to FHFC as Id be lost without his IT skills.

    Just thinking yesterday that for a donation this size I should be able to let the charity claim my tax back on the donation so the charity should be able to claim a decent bit extra back from revenue.

    I was thinking the same too but didn't want to put you under any undue pressure to do so as you're the type of guy who wouldn't say no if asked.

    If you're okay with that it would be great and give the charity a top up at your highest rate of PAYE

    Really great work here, i'll make sure those patients on the receiving end of services know the hearts of those investing effort. Most of the aul one's i'm surrounded with in there wouldn't have a notion of what fantasy football is nor do i think i'll ever be able to teach them!

    The group stages will be run over 10 Gws. We will play each team in your group twice. The group stages start on GW10 and will run every GW till GW 19.
    The top 2 in each group will qualify for the last 16. Knockout stages apart from the final will be over 2 legs. Ill decide on all the gws for that before the group stages are over. My thinking would be to not include and gws that will have blanks for those games. Gw 20 will be used for playoffs if teams finish level on points. 3 pts for a Win and 1 for a draw.
    My hardworking assistant FHFC will be along early next week with the fixture list. An engraved trophy for the winner and the hope would be we could run this every year. Great work by all we have raised a considrable amount of money.

    I think we'd be best starting a new thread for the actual competition and letting this thread fade out. Mods you could unsticky this now.

    That way the link to the league tables etc will be in the OP and the discussion and "bants" can follow on.
