    The only difference between Pedro and hazard is the fact hazard is on pens. Take that away and I'd say Pedro would outscore him as he is a more natural finisher. My take on Chelsea attackers is Pedro plus one of hazard and Costa rather than hazard and Costa.
    Ah yeah I'm a big fan of Pedro and have been praising him from day 1. I was just cautious about his "partnership" with Mourinho and well I'm not suprised it failed. Not the kind of play that suits him. With Conte in his 3-4-3, Pedro plays in a similar position than in Guardiola 4-3-3 where he has all the space he wants on his side to use his pace.

    The only thing is -8 last GW to switch to 3-5-2 followed by -12 this week to switch back to 3-4-3 all depending upon Kane vs Spurs mids. Kane is gonna be "captain obvious" this GW so he should fail :p but joke aside, he's been scoring consistently since his return and there's no Spurs mid on a real good run of form. Hence my consideration for this huge hit.

    My -8 last week worked great. So it may be time to swallow my mistake to have urged my switch to 3-5-2 and not continue doing mistakes to recover from this one. If only Alli was on his last year form...

    I joined the Pedro & Kane love train last night. Sorry Mr P, but it feels odd that we have made the same transfers :)

    Next week should be an interesting place on boards!

    Considering jumping on board as well.

    Would require a -8 though as I've already done Fuchs to Cedric.

    Hazard and Benteke would be the ones to make way, which would leave me with a front 8 of:

    Mane Firmino Allen Capoue Pedro

    Costa Kane Aguerooooo

    Is it worth taking a -8 for???? Languishing around 400k and have lost ground in my leagues so willing to take a few risks at this stage.

    Actually, I could probably get Walcott instead of Pedro to sort out my lack of Arsenal cover problem.

    Anyway, feedback welcome as always.

    Coutinho likely to drop tonight ?

    anyone going for yaya ?
    I have Kun, costa, and hazard. Cant decide between siggy, firminho, and yaya ....thoughts ?

    Why are people taking a hit to get in a midfielder before an away trip to City? He needs to score there to cover the hit. Just wait a week

    It's hard to say. Given that Yaya's not a City squad member for their European fixtures you'd think he'd be less prone to rotation by Pep in the league now that he's back playing. But, who knows.

    Firmino has favourable fixtures going for him. Even with Coutinho reportedly out for 6 weeks you'd imagine he's bound to get good returns over the next while.

    But for me it would have to be Siggy. He is at the heart of everything Swansea do at the moment. His fixtures are quite good too once the Spurs match is out of the way this weekend. Cheapest option of the 3 also.

    You're talking about Pedro?
    Personally it's part of a major team reshuffle after my switch to 3-5-2 last GW went tits up with Coutinho long-term injury. I'm eyeing my moves mi-term for the next 4 GWs.

    I could just bring Kane in for Aguero but don't know what to do about Coutinho. So it's either -4 with no Aguero & Coutinho leaking value, -8 with no Aguero and 2 bench fodders (mid-term plan is to go back to 3-4-3 with Coutinho out) or -12 and a team I'd be happy with (praying all gods for no further injuries).

    So think I'm decided now and am going to play the team value roulette game. If Ibra gets back to some sort of form and Kane continues his late one, we could end up with 4 viable premium strikers. Considering midfield is packed with viable premium mids, I think (lack of) money could be an issue at some point.

    @km79: sorry but I'm going for it :p.

    Doesn't matter about clean sheets they haven't conceded more than 1 at home all season. Big gamble to say that he'll score against them and get bonus which he'd need to profit from the hit. That's just me.

    I don't think anyone is taking a hit for Pedro, but a lot are trying to bring Kane in which requires downgrading Coutinho to Pedro and taking a hit

    Rashford out and negredo in.
    May captain negredo at home to hull on Mon night. No other choices jumping out at me

    In my case Coutinho to Pedro enabled upgrading Lukaku to Kane... both of whom I want for Dec fixtures ... with funds tight waiting a week could have precluded getting either so having him against City was a gamble worth taking

    2 FTs this week. A mini-wildcard -8 is on the cards.

    Lukaku -> Austin
    Callum Wilson -> Kane
    Mane -> Siggy
    Ashley Williams -> Cedric

    Right. 3 quarters of this plan has been completed. Operation Get Siggy has been a success! :D

    The final part of the plan (getting Cedric) I'm going to leave until before the deadline in case of injuries elsewhere. First somewhat major overhaul of my team since the WC in GW6. Going Pool-less is risky but worth it I think to get in both Siggy and Kane.

    Transfer Value?

    Hazard may rise twice, Coutinho could fall twice or three times.

    -12 done. May the FPL Lord be with me.

    Got some fright right after when I saw De Roon (C) and the whole team rearranged (thought I had ditched Sanchez instead of Coutinho :eek:... it's all fine, it's all fine).

    So what's your team now?!

    Really Tempted to transfer Hazard and Defoe to Kane and Pedro for a -4.

    Would be a transfer I'd be happy to wait another week or two to make but really have the fear Kane could get a real haul against Swansea.

    Main thing holding me back at the moment is lack of news on Heaton' injury. If he's out again next week I'll need to get in a keeper.

    Any thoughts?

    Coutinho to Pedro done. I also have Hazard which isn't ideal. Next step will probably be Lukaku to Kane and potentially a -8 to get rid of Walker to further free up funds. Would potentially allow me to bring in Sanchez for Hazard next week..or just do it this week for a -12

    Kun to Kane/Zlatan and upgrade Allen?

    Cheers, I've been playing around with a Kun-less squad for a while as well.

    Aguerooooo to Kane and Allen to Walcott is my favoured option at the minute....will mull over for another bit.

    Have swallowed a lot of hits lately but I think Kane and Arsenal cover is a necessity at this stage

    Coutinho and Lukaku out
    Siggy and Kane in

    No hits. And first early transfers of the season outside of the wildcard.

    Don't know if I agree with that being the only difference.

    Hazard is just a better player. 4 season in the premiership, and aside from last years anomalous disaster, he has scored at least 190 points every season. That's an unbelievable scoring rate, and he's on track to be the top scoring player in the game again this season.

    I don't think Pedro has a hope in hell of outscoring Hazard. The only thing going for him is that he is cheaper so, as you say, might accommodate having Costa in there more easily.

    I'd be very nervous of going without Agüero. He was dumped by many the past weekend and not considered a captain option against a very poor team. Changing to him last second made me lots of ground and reminded many of the risks of doubting him.

    He probably won't play their next CL game and Iheanacho could start in the cup. I don't expect much more messing around with him in the league. City have to focus on that now coming up to the busy Christmas period.

    Exact same moves here

    Lukaku to Kane done for a -4, I remember people saying on here a few weeks back how Lukaku was a player who was nontransferable for the whole season due to his form (I was of the same opinion) :pac:

    No doubt hazard is a much better player. However in ff terms I'd expect Pedro to score more goals than hazard discounting pens if both get similar playing time. The question for me is how many pens will Chelsea get . Without much research it seems hazard will hold the edge in bps . I'm going from memory here but haz always seems to get bps when he scores. Hazard will outscore Pedro this year but for me its only relevant from when Pedro cemented his place and again from memory I think hazard has 6 pts more over the last 7 gws. I think Pedro is great value and my conundrum is hazard or Costa to go with him over the nice Xmas fixtures.

    Also the other thing about transferring out Kun is the stress, I mean watching Kun at home to Watford would be way more stressful than watching Kane at home to Swansea if you were without either. Fortunately somehow I have managed to get both into the team along with Haz, Alexis and Mane, you can't have them all, but Kun would be the last I would do without.

    I missed that Kane was going up, so getting him in for Lukaku cost me an extra 0.1m which is annoying.

    Very happy with my transfers the last few weeks, getting in Siggy, Austin and Cedric has paid off, I resisted the urge to drop Aguero on Friday and I've been lucky with injuries.

    Current team is -

    Foster / Pickford

    Lovren / Cedric / Pieters / Amat / Adam Smith

    Hazard / Siggy / Firmino / Mané / Fletcher

    Aguero / Kane / Austin

    The one mis-step was going Sanchez->Hazard 3 weeks ago. With 0.2m in the bank I'd probably need to get Pedro in for Haz to free up funds for Sanchez, but I don't want to drop any of my other midfielders.

    It's one of those seasons where you really can't have them all, there's always be someone you're fearful of.
