    Van Djik/Jones/Alonso/Chambers/Amat
    Sanchez/Siggy/Eriksen/Firmino/De Roo
    Austin/Costa/Kane

    Thoughts?

I would prob get some spurs defensive cover as they have nice fixtures coming up. 3 of them at home and could well keep some clean sheets. maybe walker hes due a goal or an assist

    Looks good.....apart from Eriksen.

I know he scored last weekend but has done virtually nothing all season

I thought about Alli or Payet but I think I just prefer Eriksen, no real rationale for it. A bit like I'd have Ramsey or Walcott

I'd go for Cedric over Van Dijk if you want Southampton, save yourself a few quid. Not sure about Eriksen though, maybe Pedro instead?

Oh yeah, and Jones looks an interesting shout. If he can hold down that place 4.7m looks a good price looking at their upcoming fixtures. On my watch list anyway.

opinions on taking a -4 to get kane in for costa for this gameweek.
    I would be captaining kane

Ive done it, banking on a brace from Kane, hoping costa gets a yellow to really put the icing on the cake!

He'll be injured by then ;)

If you still have the AOA chip perhaps a bench fodder 3.9M (I don't know if Bruce who is supposedly due back soon gets straight back in the Hull team) would be worth the risk if you see a use for the spare cash. It's risky as this assumes Amat will be a starter. (I'm taking it that your GK pairing are there from the start)
    Good luck.

Saw jones on the FFS and thought he'd be a good pick up.
    Ya keepers there since Wk1

I've Jones earmarked for GW 16 onwards.

I would go Alli over Eriksen and I'd try and get a Spurs defender in.

I've taken a -8 for the first time in my life

    Lukaku/Deeney/Coutino/Gundagon --> Kane/Austin/Walcott/Siggy

It's wiped out my 6pt lead at the top of my money league, but the team needed a shuffle

For only 8 points I think that's an excellent move. You're replacing 4 players on the down with 4 on the up. Nice one.

Don't get Alli, he seems to be playing in more of a defensive position this season. I think the only attacking player for Spurs worth getting is Kane. Don't bother with Payet either, apart from a couple of good games earlier this season, he has been poor and West Ham are in awful form.

Good move, I'm talking about a minus 4 that will gave me siggy and Austin and I already have Kane and Walcott.

Was contemplating Walcott out but if Giroud doesn't start Walcott could go nuts against a terrible Westham defence

Appreciate advice from those who have already implemented strip lighting...

I have a kitchen-dinning room that is almost 10 meters long and the kitchen units/cabinets run the entire length of one side...

I was thinking of putting hue strip lights down the entire length of the top cabinets [in the space above the cabinet and kitchen ceiling] that 10m long AND the same along the very bottom of same units at floor level (ankle height) .. That's another 10m AND then about 7 m in the middle above the counter worktop.

Is that way over the top. Nearly 27 m of strip lighting (ignore the costs involved for the moment) just wondering if the above suggestions is gonna have airplanes circling the house.

Have done Lukaku/Couthino ->Firmino/Austin so far for -4 but really want some spurs coverage. Have enough to upgrade Moses to Alli/Eriken/Son, who's the best option?

    I'd play Bench Boost

On Wildcard, have made a few already so trying to finalize.

    Grant/Pickford.
    Lovren/Alonso/McAuley. Ake/Pieters.
    Mane/Sanchez/Siggy/Allen. Fletcher.
    Aguero/Kane/Anichebe.

    +1.7 Bank. Or 284K.

    Issues.
Keepers, don't rotate H/A at all but cheap and give a decent fixture each week. Susceptible to Manone/Butland returning.
Defence. Plan on playing first 3 most weeks. Pricey but Alonso as an effective midfieder maybe justifies it. Having both Pieters and Grant seems wrong.
Midfield/Forward Would need to upgrade the Fletcher/Anichebe/Allen triangle of mediocrity. Have read about Pedro here, actually thinking Pogba??
Mane could be downgraded to Firmino obviously but he works as a useful differential for me as people I'm chasing have Firmino.

Anything utterly obvious that I'm missing?

Wasted wildcard if you're not planning on incorporating the implementation of strip lighting.

    On a serious note -

Reading through your team I was surprised to see Anichebe as your final striker. Maybe because when I seen Siggy and Allen as starters I expected it was to allow for a shît hot strike force.

I think too much spent in defence. Ake isn't a starter so you could go for a 3.9 deadbeat to save money. I'd also go De Roon over Fletcher. Another .1 saved.

Going with Firmino saves you cash and a guaranteed transfer next month.

I wouldn't be happy with a wildcard leaving me with Siggy, Allen and Anichebe as weekly starters. Alonso might have to be sacrificed to strengthen overall.

    .........

Cheers, taken on board and I had actually had £1.6 more in the bank than in my earlier post, not sure how I made that mistake.

    *******
So now looking at something like.

    Wildcarding.

    Grant, Pickford.
    McAuley, Pieters, Dawson(Hull) ,Mee, Amat.
    Sanchez, Firmino, Siggy, Allen, DeRoon.
    Aguero,Costa,Kane.
    Zero in bank.

    My Analysis.
Keepers. Don't rotate well but basement cheap have a decent fixture each week short term.
Defence Much weaker now and I won't have a default 3 but should be ok on week to week basis, helps if Amat keeps his place as a filler-in.
Midfield. Joe Allen is a weak enough 4th midfielder.
Forward. Have a big big trio, although Costa will get his 5th YC once I bring him in.

Any thoughts from anyone appreciated, would have to click this tonight I believe as Costa upping.

Considering that front 3 you've done well.
I would go for Robertson instead from Hull but that's just me and it still leaves you short to get Mannone for Grant (assuming he price rises before deadline) but both Sunderland GKs may not be to your liking, Best of luck.

    ^^^^

It does look better for having Costa.

I'll stick with my original advice - I couldn't have Allen starting every week. If I had to go with a regular starting cheapie it would be Snodgrass (off the top of my head).
