Considering that front 3 you've done well.
I would go for Robertson instead from Hull but that's just me and it still leaves you short to get Mannone for Grant (assuming he price rises before deadline) but both Sunderland GKs may not be to your liking, Best of luck.

Dawson is the only Hull defender I'd consider having as he is good for the occasional goal.

No keeper this week if heaton doesn't make it. I could do jaku to Pickford for another -4.

Not sure if this has been mentioned before but just for anyone thinking of Zaha, he's recently declared for Ivory Coast, so theres a possibility he'll be away for the African Cup of Nations

    Pickford Foster
    Amat Alonso Smith Kelly Kone
    Gundogan Pedro Mane Redmond Myler
    Ibra Kun Kane

Have 1 ft looking at moving on gundogan. That would leave me 6 million itb

Any ideas/recommendations on a replacement? He'd start this week with Myler Kelly Smith on the bench

Hazard and Defoe to Kane and Pedro for a -4??
Would wait a week but Kane captain against Swansea is so tempting

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 784 ✭✭✭FrClintPower

I've already done Lukaku to Kane, and now I'm considering Hazard and Mané to Sanchez and Pedro for a -4. My other mids are Siggy and Firmino, with Aguero Kane Austin up front.

I've got a major dose of Sanchez fear and this is the only way I can see to get him in. I've had Mané all season, and he's been ticking over without exploding yet, but I think the absence of Coutinho and Lallana over the coming weeks might lower his ceiling a bit. No Chelsea or Arsenal cover in team at the moment either.

I could just get Pedro now and move for Sanchez next week, but I think it'll be worth taking the hit.

Probably Fer or maybe Snodgras, you've a lot of funds tied up in your attack, would you consider freeing up funds by selling Ibra?

After holding him this long I'll wait to see how he fairs between now and xmas I think.

Good shout on Fer I was thinking about him

I'd say the question you need to ask to yourself is: if I exclude the second WC (where I'll be able to change my second keeper for free), when will I think I'll need my second keeper? i.e. When will I be happy to bench Heaton for a particularly tough fixture and/or play my second keeper for an priori CS-friendly much better one?
If it's only for this GW, the -4 is a big gamble. But if you isolated a couple of GWs, then and assuming Jaku stays out of favour, you'll quickly benefit from it (after all it's only 4 pts, 2 2 pointers being enough to break even).

Will probably bank until next week but I can't figure out how to get Kane in for Lukaku and who else to downgrade, .3 in the bank:
    Foster Heaton
    Holebas Alonso Pieters Amat Smith
    Hazard Sanchez Siggy Firmino Capoue
    Anichebe Lukaku Aguero

    Thoughts please?

Edit: don't want to lose Alonso so the obvious is Haz to Pedro and then Luk to Kane right? I'll be sad to lose Haz though!

Hazard to Pedro seems the obvious move there if you want Kane in. If you want to keep Hazard, your only other options would be downgrading Aguero to someone and Lukaku to Kane or else downgrading Firmino.

Firminio to Lallana? (maybe not guaranteed the starts).

I can see why you wouldn't want to lose Hazard. But I think it's a case of downgrading either Haz or Sanchez to Pedro or Walcott. Chelsea don't have a great fixture this week, while Arsenal have could run riot vs WHam. If you thought that Walcott could be ultimately a good option, you could do Hazard to Walcott this week, then next week do Sanchez to Hazard.

I didn't think of it like that, this option may be a runner, I've taken a couple of -4s lately though so I'll have a think about it. Thanks though, good food for thought.

We'll my thinking was that if you were taking a -4, Pedro might struggle to make that back for you. Better chance with Walcott imo.

I went bold and got rid of Aguero. Brought in Kane. Kept my other 2 strikers of Costa & Austin. Should be enough fire power there to get me through the Christmas

Also went Lallana -> Pedro. Pedro not the obvious choice but hopefully it pays off. Hoping for a nice 3-3 draw on Saturday morning with goals by Costa, Pedro & none for Aguero or KDB!

Victor anichebe starting. Sterling on bench.

    Fingers and toes crossed

So.... debating about doing an Austin to Kane swap
My front 3 would be Costa / Aguero / Kane

Coutinho injury freed up some funds
Midfield would then consist of Sanchez / Hazard / Matic / Allen / Hojbjerg (backup)

Do I stick with Austin or weaken my midfield?????? Both Kane and Austin have a decent run of fixtures coming up
    Have 2 FT this week

    I'd go Pickford too
    Bournemouth strong at home
    The foxes weak away

Will probably both end up the same though depending on save points

    Cheers man,
Allen is on my mind to upgrade.
I'll stick with Matic I think. He is an assist machine this season, although he is blocking me bringing in Pedro

That's true about matic he has done great so far. Playing with kante has freed him up a bit. I just prefer my mids to be a goal threat.

Think I've gone mad. Bringing Traore into my midfield. Nice fixture and he looks dangerous at least! Presume I'm the only 1?

Oh yeah, I was gonna bring him in after the Arsenal game where he looked unreal, don't think he has done anything since.
