See what's happened here now, is that mods had a chance yesterday to nip this in the bud (butt), only for the sh1t to hit the fan (chest), and now we have this huge grey (brown) area.

    The ball(poop) was definitely dropped.

Some men just like to sit back with popcorn and watch a fellow mod destroy his reputation watch the world burn

I think it's a kind of "existential" question. He's wondering, if it was because he left that things literally went to shit and if perhaps he had stayed would we still be giving out about Ironman?

To change the subject again, if Awec was a superhero what would be his name?

I'm going to start guessing with: The Brown Lantern

I have a colleague in Portugal called Telmo who is very short in stature. Naturally I call him Ickle Wee Telmo, but he doesn't get it.

Surely it's as simple as "Doctor Strange".

Dunno what awec would be but his Lady friends would definitely be Brown Widow maybe Brown Witch if we're getting into the real kinky stuff.

He's actually got the incredible ability to change his superpowers. Any time he sees John Lacey referee a game he turns into The Incredible Sulk

You could branch this out further:

Thomond2006: Mystique (changes team colours every weekend)
.ak: Apocalypse (He was a mutant before it was cool)
mfceiling: Beast (punches above his weight)
Mahatama: Cyclopse (only sees in red)
    Zzippy: Zippy (Zippy)
Swiwi: Juggernaught (Likes knocking people out of his way)

The problem with the internet is the permanence of it....

What has been seen / heard / read cannot be unseen / unheard / unread.

Not quite sure the superpowers do enough!

Introducing the new "brown card". If you get 3 red cards in a row, awec will call around and defecate in your garden!

Did anyone watch Crazyhead that was on E4 the last few weeks? It was about demon hunters and in order to exorcise people you had to start by peeing on them. Perhaps Awec is a demon and people have been trying to exorcise him, but getting it wrong?

Mo Farah on Graham Norton...I can't help but feel that 5-6 years from now (or sooner)that we're all lookin back on interviews like this thinking "fukking cheat".

    I'm cringing in advance.
