Anyone know if you buy a coffee machine in the Warehouse, do you still get the free pods and offers from Nespresso?

    Some great offers floating around.

Ordered a couple of items ( phone and tablet ) from the Warehouse and noticed that no matter what option I choose for posting, I have to pay postal charges, even when I choose the Free Delivery option. The amounts were small, less than 7 pounds but still annoying. Anyone else see this ?

If it offered free delivery, then they should have been free, unless there were other items in your cart that had paid delivery?
You may have been unlucky in your purchases that they were not fulfilled by Amazon or they were under the 25 threshold for free delivery to Ireland (or is that 20 now?) .
I have ordered from Amazon WHD many times before and have always been happy with my purchases (to date).
As mentioned, they also come with an Amazon warranty of 1 year, and manufacturers warranty may be longer. 30 day free return, so if the item is not satisfactory in any way, you can return it for free.

After reading this I checked my order and after selecting free delivery it then charged me £12 for delivery! Didn't notice at the time.

Gonna send them an email tonight. See what they say!

Go on to the live chat and they should be able to sort it out there and then.

Got a Lumia 950 XL yesterday that I ordered with £50 off last week, I selected free delivery and it put the price of delivery on but then took it off with the discount, my delivery was £7 and my discount totaled £57 so that might be whats happening. On the condition it was perfect(not a scratch on it just opened box) except that it was stuck in a boot loop(probably why it was returned originally), I used the recovery tool and that fixed it so happy with a big saving I made on it.

I'm seeing the reduction for delivery get lumped in with the 20% reduction; it will show the P&P but the equivalent value will be reduced along with the 20%.

So for example, when you add a £100 item to cart with default standard delivery, you'll see the £6 fee and a £20 reduction. When you select the free delivery option, you'll still see the £6 charge but you'll see the reduction come up to £26.

^ Would appreciate if everyone who has posted about buying so far would post back about how happy they were with what they received vs description..

I've never used the Warehouse, but would be inclined to if the feedback is positive..

I've used it a couple of times. They are extremely conservative in how they rate the condition of items, ie "good" condition is likely to be nearly perfect and "very good" is 100% perfect. If what you want is in Warehouse and it's a good saving, it's a no-brainer.

    This happens with Prime accounts.

    Are you using Prime?

Collected the projector I bought today. In the original box with manual, cd, lead and remote control. Looks immaculate. Tested it out and it's perfect. 0 hours on the lamp. An absolute bargain

Is there many very good deals? I find Amazon to be quite expensive and delivery is robbery at times. I find it very hard sifting through the different websites finding genuine good deals.

I still wouldnt be spending a good bit on something high value like a TV though, when the likes of Sony do a 5 year warranty in stores. Everything else would be fine though.
I bought a 43" Sony from Amazon Warehouse last Christmas and got the 5 year warranty from Sony.

Nice! Bought a Sony recently from normal amazon so its good to see they carry the 5 year warranty. I know the sale of goods act covers it but i've seen people in the UK get nowhere mentioning that on the amazon forums.

I bought a new Sony 12 months ago off amazon
Is this warranty a new thing?

The 5 year warranty was a thing 12 months ago in Irish stores at least with their high end 4K models, not sure exactly how many models are covered by it. Id imagine it would have said it on the box.

I had to email Sony for the warranty. They mailed me back with details of the 5 year cover. It was a 43" Android TV, hopefully I'll never need to use the warranty :).

I checked, it's not covered. There's a limited number of models.

Just got my 3 items from the Warehouse. All reduced by about 50 - 80% off the original. All were marked Good or Very Good.

All appear to be brand new and untouched. Just a bit of damage to box.

Some of my items arrived, they look brand new, absolutely no way to tell except for the Amazon Warehouse Deals sticker on them.

That's why they're unsuitable for gifting! (Self gifting on the other hand? Perfect!)

They are the very easily removable stickers. I cannot think of something else that they are used on (edit . I think they are called easy-peel), but they remove easily without damaging the packaging. So i could give them as a gift and none would be the wiser :) But these are for me.

I bought a pair of Beats Solo 2 headphones which worked out at just under €100 which is around half the price they are in shops here.

The condition is described as very good and under further details it said the box was open and the packaging slightly damaged.

I reckon if I'm not happy with their condition I can just send them back for a refund.

These arrived today and I have to say I'm very happy with them. They are basically in the same condition they would be about 30 seconds after you decide to open the packaging.

Got myself a toaster & a couple of books. The books had a small bit of damage on the outer covers but nothing like missing pages and I got 75% off! The toaster the box had been opened but never used its perfect.
