It's odd that they don't have a notice on their site saying what's happening. It allows you to click on the phone to buy it but then tells you when you try to buy one that they're both out of stock.

If this hardware update is just to make the OP3 daydream compatible then they will have to bring the resolution of the screen up too or it's going to be slated for looking kinda crap (in 'VR') next to screens with twice the pixel count.

Well there's talk of it moving to QHD LCD, which is probably for a mix of daydream compatibility and to offset negative press from moving away from AMOLED

seems the 3T may not ship with nougat out of the box after all, rather it will be updated along with the 3 in the coming 6 weeks or so:
And still others suggested the 7 could refer to the inclusion of Android 7.0 Nougat. The latter is unfortunately not very likely. Head of software Brian Yoon has confirmed that a Nougat beta "community build would be available to the OnePlus 3 this month, and that it will roll out to all OnePlus 3s before the end of the year. With this in mind the new OnePlus 3T is likely to ship with Marshmallow but with an upgrade to Nougat expected shortly.

I am travelling to China in te New Year

I am just wondering if any one would know if I purchased the onePLus 3/3t there would it work here?

I am not very tech savvy but I am guessing might be problems with the 4g/LTE protocols (if that's the right word)

My NFC Icon will not turn on the device. I used it previously to read a leap card some weeks ago so it was working.

Activated it and deactivated it in settings several times and rebooted and powered down the device several times , Still cant get the Icon to appear.

Leap app doesnt work either (obviously because the icon isnt up)

Anyone have issues activating the Icon ??

have you not read the last couple of pages of the thread. the 3T is launching today. It is not at clear what the future of the 3 is yet and the believed main factor is the lack of supply of AMOLED screens with the 3T rumoured to be switching to LCD.

    We'll know more from 6pm.

It's out of stock all over the place as they are announcing a newer version today (oneplus 3T).

Even though there are already two OnePlus 3 threads, I'd love to start a new OnePlus3T thread just to annoy OP3 owners

Yea I read about the 3T here but read somewhere that the standard 3 was being made available again today. Obviously not so.
    Thanks

What do ye make of one plus x ?
I might be tempted to purchase that if the 3 continues to remain out of stock and the 3t has a mad price jump

The Oneplus X was discontinued a few months ago. You might be able to pick one up second hand but even then they're hard enough to come by.

Have a check on www.willmyphonework.net and check against the networks your roaming plan will connect to.

Heard that a few times, found it weird considering Carl Pei said this 1 month ago

You'll have to start 2. One for owners that doesn't allow posts on delivery, and another that allows posts on delivery until some gimp starts taking the mickey with blow by blow updates, and eventually the thread OP is changed and bans posts on delivery

Ordered one at the end of October, should be shipping on the 15th Nov according to their site. I'll go mad if they announce some price drop to go with their new phone announcement on th 15th, if that is what's gonna happen.

Mine is shipping today as well. Woot! Woot!

Watching the announcement live now on their Facebook Link

The OP3T is much better than the OP3 that was only released a few months ago

Be that as it may, if the OP3 was an extra 50-100 at the time I purchased I think I might have just bit the bullet and went for an S7 or something similar.
I'm more than happy with my OP3 for now and the foreseeable future.

So €439 according to the site, not bad for an extra €40. Although its a bit strange cause its £399 on the UK site, £70 extra over the original 3 which is £329.
