My OP 3 just arrived today. Very strange getting a brand new phone only for it to discontinued the day I get it.

They have a 15 day no issues return if you want to pay slightly more and go for the 3T.

Ah no, I'm okay with the stats on the regular 3, definitely don't need higher megapixel camera for my selfies

The phone is ****ing class, well impressed with it. Such a huge upgrade from my S4. Glad I was able to get one of the last ones before the 3T.

you can still get the older phones through resellers seen one on adverts and ebay.

OnePlus however won't be selling Op3 anymore only Op3-T starting next monday the 28th.

I quite like the Nillkin Frosted case, although the white one can get grubby looking quite quickly.

I have the Spigen Neo Hybrid and I love it. Slim, looks good, most importantly great protection. Also nice "clicky" volume/power buttons!

Leaning towards the spigen case thanks.

Is there anyway to quickly move between silent, vibrate and loud. I thought the alert slider would be customisable for this but it doesn't even have the option my S4 did where I could drag down the menu from the top and change between the 3 profiles.

Well it is easy to go to silent with the alert slider. But I don't know a way to go quickly between profiles as Oxygen Os is based off stock android while Samsung uses touchwiz. Maybe there is a app in the playstore that will do what you want through a widget.

Downloaded an app for it which seems to do the job but every profile sets my alarm back to full which I don't like so uninstalled it. Tried vibratemode but uninstalled as it said it will have access to the text in messages I receive. Bit pissed off something as easy as silent, vibrate, loud isn't available on the base phone/OS.

I had that Orzly case and hated it. The soft silicon cover is very flimsy and is a magnificent dust catcher. I found it made the phone very bulky. I switched to a Spigen case and it feels much better in the hand and more premium. I dropped my phone on Saturday onto tarmac and it did very well. Hardly a mark on the cover and the phone was fine.

Supposedly 12.01am on the 28th. It goes on sale in the US tomorrow so that may be an good indication of the time it gets released here.

They give you an expected delivery date and mine went out on the 15th and I received it on the 16th (2 1/2 weeks). I think they might have sent it from some place in China to Poland or they have factories/distribution points set up in Poland.
