    whinge whinge .
She just said that her family put her there because they live closer to the nursing home than her own home.

Apologise for that nasty comment, Joe.

This should NOT be on the radio. We don't know the full story.

Daughter gets rid of Mammy with a view to offloading house for a few bob so to speak.

I seriosuly doubt that. If she's able to look after herself then she's able to sign herself out. From personal experience she's not allowed out as medical people have decided that she needs to be looked after and she can't look after herself.

It's a sad story, but to protect the family it shouldn't be on the radio.

This lady sounds like she just needed a bit of a chance to recover. Her mind seems very alert.

There are of course two sides to this but it's very sad listening to this lady. She's lived a whole life, a life where she was once young but ends up like this. Getting old must be such a bol!ix

I've seen people in nursing homes perfectly fine in the head, but physically unable to look after themselves. It's not that simple. I'd love to hear what her district nurse, OT, GP etc say about her.

She's admitted several times that she forgets things BTW.

This is vile radio. If I was in the family I'd be up to Duffy's house this evening and give him my own "personal" opinion.
