Male or female, thinking "I'm gorgeous" is one of the most unattractive traits a person can have. It used to be called "being full of yourself".

I don't think I've ever seen a more perfect figure than this....even if she had way smaller boobs her figure would still be perfect to me.

Wow. That body is a weapon.

Or "having notions". As my granny used to say "sure what would ya want to be looking at yourself in the mirror for".

I don't understand the strange preoccupation some of you have with the perceived ideal body shape.

She has a pretty face but her body looks boney, awkward, not very feminine.

She looks like what women or fashion type people think is good looking.

    It's a fascinating anthropological issue

My mother would say "sure, who'd be looking at you?"

I'll let you in on a secret here. I'm married seven years now. If I'm out in a cafe or shop whatever, my missus can make me laugh by just glancing towards something she knows I find funny....a bad tattoo, trousers pulled up too high, whatever....just a "hey, look" and a flick of the eyes to where I should look.

That is what makes her sexy.

Well the thread asked what people were attracted to, and people have been replying with examples.

Not really a preoccupation, just a discussion.

When you know someone so well, the in jokes are the best. When I met her I told her about my brother and his tendency to stay in his house at all times unless he was working, ordering takeaways, booze deliveries etc.

I said casually "he was like yer man from Game On". She roared laughing, magic moment. I wondered afterwards how many people actually remembered Game On?

It varies. I know women with big tits, small tits. They are attractive because of their manner and how we get on, not because of their body shape. OP thinks spending all his hours in a gym will make him attractive to women.

    Wrong.

Spending some time reading a book would be more beneficial.

    Well...
If I was ever to get married (ha, the ****ing thought of it), it would be in a registry office with the minimum possible amount attending because I don't like wasting people's time.

I'd be just as married as the clowns who spend thousands on twaddle.

...this only applies to the intelligent members of society.

I definitely don't find the overly-muscled body-builder physique attractive, I'd be more into normal/toned to a bit plump but still healthy and active builds. The only person I know who finds the big bulgy body-builder look very hot is a gay guy.

So, not wanting to waste more money than strictly necessary on a glorified contract signing is unintelligent now?

Women find the broad shoulders, narrow waist, 'V' shape the most attractive male body shape.

That's according to OP's Ma anyway who has studied the subject in great detail.

    No, not now.

    Always has been.

" glorified contract signing is unintelligent now"

    Q.E.D.

Are you a wedding planner or something?

You seem to be taking this rather personally.

To me the ripped/tanned/shaved guys are just the male equivalent of too much makeup/fake lashes/fake nails girls. Not with yours mounted on an eight foot pole.

    Kinda like these?

I don't know about perfect but I wouldn't kick her out of bed for eating curry.

Ok. Well, either I'm a wedding planner who's taking this rather personally, or you're a loud mouthed ill-educated, misogynistic waste of space.

Most Attractive: Smallish boobs with curvy hips and bum.

Unattractive: Big boobs with narrow hips or man-shaped bum.

    Attractive: Various combinations in between

    Very unattractive isn't it.

What about those of us gals that are maybe a couple of stone overweight? Not slim but not BBW/fat fetishist territory either.

    No love from anyone? :D

I like the indulgence. Crack open a few bottles of wine, loads of snacks, loads of great films, no bedtime deadlines, just pure indulgence...very attractive to me. Nothing off limits, never feel so free, pure bliss.

Personally I'm a fan of the "strong back" as myself and my friends would call it. Not a fan of the overly muscular, extremely well built guy but nicely built with strong shoulders and back area is so attractive. Wouldn't be a fan of any extremes: overly skinny, overly muscular, overly heavy but all happy mediums in between are fine with me.

it's far easier to initially attract someone by your appearance.
most of the women on the thread have admitted to being attracted to muscles, the lean type guy preferable. he'll do that in a gym.
if he reads a book or two on rests days all the better.
