What body types do women/guys find most/least attractive?

Following on fromt he "are you a roide" thread, I got to thinking what body types do men/women find most and least attractive in the opposite sex?

I'm a guy and in the media we always see big, muscular guys being touted as attractive. Do women actually find this to be the most attractive body type? Or is it considered intimidatingly good looking?

Typically the male body types can be broken down into

Overweight/fat - simply fat. Upper end of dad bod
Skinny phag - thin and scrawny. Little fat or muscle. Phag bod.
Skinny fat - Think the lower end of dad bod. Healthy BMI but out of shape.
Buff - toned but not big. bf approx 10%. Think Edward Cohen.
Ripped medium muscle mass with bf% <10%. Hugh Jackman.
Jacked - big muscle mass but with a higher bf% 15-20%. Jason statham.
Shredded - Child of ripped and jacked, good muscle mass with bf% <10%
Swole - Very large. Bulging with muscularity. Dwayne Johnson.
Yolked - Complete freakshows. Not possible without mega 'roidz bruh. Think Kali Muscle or Arnold at his biggest.

What sort of male body do average Jane on the street find to be the most attractive?

I like women with a head, boobs, legs and arms and a bum. Apart from that - not fussy.

I am oddly attracted to women's shoulders and upper arms lately. I put it down to age. By the way, I like a hint of muscle-tone but nothing freaky.

    I like tall women.
    They're just superior.

Really? Why is that? What age are you?

I thought that was more of a woman thing to find upper body muscularity attractive. I didn't really ever even think of women as even having upper bodies until you mentioned this.
Women for me is all about the booty and a nice pretty face. I don't care about brreashts very much. Meh.

I'm 44. It's not muscularity in that part of the body, or indeed anyehere else, that I find attractive. It's healthy-looking curves with just a touch of muscle definition. What my late father would have called "nicely upholstered". Of course I like the other stuff as well... :D

I generally find a lean/average build the most attractive, maybe a little definition but nothing too muscly. Least attractive would be someone really overweight who doesn't look after themselves I guess (obviously some people have weight issues because of health problems).

This isn't true. I've never met a girl who liked big muscley dudes. I can only think of the girls on Jersey Shore as being into that type! I'm thinking of male sex symbols of today... Michael Fassbender, Tom Hiddlestone, etc. all slim and in proportion. Maybe "lean" is the word to describe the figure they seem to portray as being the most desirable in men.

Why do women seem to be against well muscled guys?
I thought large muscles would indicate vigour, strength, health etc which is really what we are lookign for when we select partners.

Tom Hiddlestone is not in proportion. He's very skinny and has no mass.

I'm not into guys with big muscles at all. I'm into thin, nerdy guys. My mother used to say I like the sickly looking ones :o It is rare these days I find myself attracted to anyone though and when I am usually because of something they have said, a certain mannerism or a friendly smile.

I guess it's the same the other way around - not a lot of guys would be into well muscled women. I wouldn't say I'm against well muscled guys but it wouldn't be the build I'd be most attracted to.

The women you see in fitness magazines etc are pretty hot. Anything beyond that is just freaky. I don't get this "strong is the new skinny" thing that's popular now because it seems to lead to women looking like rugby players ffs.

On a woman it'd be skinny with no t or a.

Or very skinny legs & no ass in general, like the bottom half of Georgia salpa

In the Wilds of California, they'd probably become bajillionaires and spend Sundays visiting zoos watching the children of Gym Brahs fling their own excrement at each other. :pac:

    Attracted to:
Slim/average body type, generously sized chest (but not too big) and a nice butt.

    Least attracted to:
Too toned i.e. women who lift, bingo wings, and virtually anything above a size 10 (12 at a push)

I hate the body builder look on a man .Ideally I'd like height, big arms, medium build, jeans and T-shirt not too into his fashion and his own teeth ðŸ˜

Personally I like many different body types. Tall men with broad shoulders just look great to hug! But it has to be said the defined V that goes down to the groin is the biggest turn on ever (don't know what it's called, don't care) just love it. Yum Yum.

There's being fit/athletic and thens there's putting on so much muscle that you're about as agile as a morbidly obese man. If you see a big muscle bound man come out of a gym it's the perfect time to bully them because they're as weak as kittens and moving their giant legs uses up all their bodies available energy so even a fat man could outrun them. Women judge men on their abilities, being able to lift 200kg but needing a nap afterwards isn't exactly going to rate highly with them.

The way a woman walks can be hypnotic. Outside of that it's hard to pick one thing that's better than the rest, it's all good. :D

I think it's because they sometimes look like they love themselves too much and would spend all their time in the gym or at the mirror. Also sometimes it can be a little intimidating, as in maybe they could turn aggressive. Just my opinion.
