    The problem with eir is that there are no local office's anymore.Everything is centralised and customers have to continually deal with faceless people.Staffing levels have been decimated in the years since the company was privatised.Many of the problems people are experiencing now would have been dealt with easily years ago by local office staff and Technicians with vast knowledge of their area,something that doesn't exist nowadays.
