Put that in yiz are pipes and smoke it visa vee the JNLR figures so to speak...
Joe Duffy’s Liveline in particular is a standout improver in the ratings, with an additional 4,000 listeners tuning in for the afternoon weekday phone-in show, and a very respectable 24,000 improvement seen year-on-year to 395,000.

They take a sample set that is representative of the nation as a whole, probably a nursing home or bingo hall & extra-pole-eight out from that

The only logical conclusion one can make from that is all the Nursing Home Industry in Ireland has taken on exactly that number of new patients customers this quarter and year respectively.

Anytime I ask anyone, "Did you hear XYZ on Joe Duffy Yesterday?", I get the funniest looks and "NO, I wouldn't listen to that bo££ox if you paid me" for an answer.

"Oh, that **** gosbhite," is the only answer I've ever had. People do listen though, if only to confirm that it's getting worse.

Most poeple are so disinterested they can't even be arsed turning the gobshoite off when the radio is on in the background and the ratings are counted by the electricity surge at the end of the show as poeple put the kettke on for a cuppa, but most of the wurkers have a cuppa and fag(not the gay type) break at 3pm just as the lavhe lahne closes!

The timing of the show distorts it's own TAM ratings!

Yes for No and No for Yes, That will make for an interhesting Results Listeners. Butt remember it's MY listeners that make MY show not ME, I'm jus here to shout people down when they come out with a load of auld GUFF

Kathryn Thomas should be careful. Newry is only 55 miles from Omagh where a bomb went off 18 years ago resulting in multiple casualties.
