They don't have the same massive personal injury payouts as us.

So, caller, tell your lad to just move to London if it's all that great.

How do you drive on your own on a learner permit.

Why doesn't he do the same as previous generations of young wans and get a motorbike?

He would have to be driven either way would he not as he can't drive alone?

He should not have got a car/car loan before figuring this out about the insurance!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 426 ✭✭Amberjack

But sure if he only had a provisional he shouldn't be driving on his own???????

Even if he gets the test he needs to have a qualified driver with him.

You can't drive outside the state with a provisional so before he gets any insurance he needs the licence.

Perhaps while Revenue are investigating Seamus from yesterday, they could also have a quick peek at Claddaghgreen.

"Benefit in Kind" is such a wonderful phrase when applied to these little freebies that should be taxable.

How is this going to benefit his son & their travel arrangements? He's on a provisional so the chap or his older son will still have to accompany him?

I remember you could drive on your own if you were on your 2nd ... so you had to FAIL the driving test, to be allowed to drive alone - makes sense

    Whoy is Joe defending Seamus????

Seamus is breaking his leases in most cases

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,829 ✭✭✭✭Dan Jaman

Seamus might be staring at getting the bump, now.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 20,373 ✭✭✭✭foggy_lad

The terms of airbnb are that you use your home and rent out that or your holiday home, they frown on what Seamus was doing as he is not using his own home or his main residence.

AirBnB will likely say nothing, they are enjoying his fees so to speak.
