Meh. He looks to be playing well, but Man U really only have 3 good fixtures from the next 7, and there's so many good fpl midfield options already. They play Spurs and Arsenal at home, and Chelsea away this weekend obviously, and Mourinho may well adopt a defensive strategy like was done against Liverpool for those games. Everton away isn't easy on paper either. Monitor for now with a view to possibly bringing in gw16 onwards is my current thinking

Keeping an eye with a view to aroInd January as well
He does possess a serious goal and assist threat
Not materialized in league so far though

it's a pity he came in at £8.5m, which most considered over-priced as he was odds on to be playing a regular(deeper) central midfield role, unlike the more advanced position he's now taken at Rooney's expense. I'm not ruling out getting him, but it'll take a lot to convince me what with all the good midfield options we already have

Banking probably makes sense alright - have had a fairly meh couple of GW's (like most people I guess) so the natural inclination was to do something drastic.

Will hold and hope frikken Eriksen does something productive :pac:

Stoke have nice run starting against Hull this weekend, so not the worst.

I did Antonio&Capoue out for Walcott and Allen.

I never sold my mid with Sunderland being his next game, but Walcott will have a chance against them next week anyway.

I don't fancy WB next 3 games so the plan was to get a cheapie for that period. Grant is perfect for that (hul, SWA, whu). Butland is expected to return in 4 games time. 'bout my last paragraph. What about Capoue -> Allen and bench Rashford this week-end? That would mean a kinda strong front 8. Never really worked for me. Is it time to make it change

Allen has Capoue style stats. He has one positive in that he looks like playing in an advanced role so can improve these stats.

I'm thinking about going Capoue to 4.4 to cash in before Allen forces him to drop price. It would be a second free transfer but might trigger a hit in the next GW. Is taking the 4.9 on Capoue worth a 4 point hit though or will I just suck it up that when I do cash it will be for tiny bit less?

Allen has had about double Capoue stats according to the Scoutcast

Let Capoue drop. Your 4.4 could become a 4.3 if your double transfer next week is tight on budget.

Which one of Puncheon and Bolasie would you downgrade to a 4.3M mid?

After a lot of consideration I got rid of Benteke and Capoue for Coutinho and 4.4 striker - against what my head was telling me because I want to take a risk with something different.

Leaves me with a Liverpool midfield triple up and a front 7 of:

Mane Coutinho Firmino Walcott Sanchez

Aguero Rashford

Will go Rashford to Austin once Utd have played Burnley and Swansea and then I'm gonna try sit back and see what happens with the forward positions.

I know there are different opinions on doubling and trebling up on players from teams but I think it is logically a sound idea, especially over a long period of promising fixtures. First test is against Pulisball tomorrow.

I'm stumped. I've Costa, but want to get Ozil in for a -4 as I think as I think Chelsea have hard fixtures coming up with tight defenses, and I think Boro are vunerable ATM. Should I go ahead with Redmond < Ozil & Costa < Wilson/Austin? Or should I just change Baines? Defense isn't too big a worry however. Thanks.

Upgrade Friend to Monreal. Definitely think Arsenal have a clean sheet in them this weekend. Him or one of your GKs.

If you have the extra 0.5, you could upgrade to Kos or Bellerin which are much better options. Up to you, but I think Williams is a decent choice already.

I have the funds for those players but it will leave me with only 0.1m itb which looking ahead might be risky business. Might still do it though :cool:
I thought Williams was a good choice as well but he isn't getting higher than 2 points per gw for weeks now.

I'm starting to feel like an Arsenal defender could do me very well alongside Walker and Holebas
