    Who to play?

    Pickford V West Ham
    Foster V Liverpool

Or use FT to get a <4.9 goalie in?

I have Foster (but not Allen :-))....not expecting a clean sheet but would anticipate a couple of save points at least

Pickford should do better than Foster this weekend so I'd play him.

    Opinions needed.

I only have 3 fit defenders, Holebas, Verthogen and ben gibson. Already taken a -4. Do I:

    A) Play Gibson away to Arsenal
    B) play AOA with Capoue
    C) take another hit for Baines to Clyne or a Stoke defender?

Not a fan of hits for defenders so currently leaning toward B as Capoue should outscore Gibson. What do ye think?

B imo. Middlesbrough likely to get beat heavily by the Gunners so Gibson will be lucky to get even 1 point. Taking another hit for a defender is risky as the player you get in will have to keep at least a clean sheet or get an attacking return for it to pay off. If you fancy Liverpool to keep a clean sheet then maybe think about C but I would just play Capoue and hope for the best.

Keepers playing against Liverpool typically get a lot of save points (average of 4.3 saves this season for example) so Foster should get at least 2-3 points and should they keep a clean sheet, he has a great chance of bonus points.

Ok - So I've narrowed it down to either Foster of Pickford:pac:

    :D

I think they'll both concede so play whoever you think gets more save points.

I'd go Foster, it would be typical Pulis to turn up and keep a clean sheet in the one game you don't expect them to.

No Evans though so he'll only be able to field 6 centre backs

Made my changes (2) early this week brought in sterling and costa for Sanchez and Defoe. Walcott (c) to do the business again tomorrow.

Making changes early has got me back in the big leagues, I now have a massive team value of 100.1 it was 99.5 at one stage

Took my 2nd -4 of the season this week. Did Spacecraft to Walcott & Benteke to Wilson.

Abandoning the Pardew bus for now. Spacecraft has disappointed in a big way so far. My big fear though is that I've left it too late to jump on the Walcottwagon.

Going to save it (I think!)

    Cech
    Vertonghen, Lovren, Williams
    Ozil, Firmino, Walcott (c), Antonio
    Aguero, Lukaku, Defoe

Jakupovic, Capoue, Amat, Evans. 0.3 in bank.

Contemplated Capoue to Allen as a profit making exercise, but think I'd prefer to have 2FTs next week.

Play Capoue or Rashford? Rashford should start but may be defending more than attacking

I was happy with my team until I saw you with Walcott. Is that not a little bit ballsy

Mmmmmm so I want to get rid of Capoue if I do it this week I'm - 4. One way or another I'd have 6 million to spend but I don't know who to go to.....

Everyone around that price seems to be patchy.

    Sterling out.
Can't decide on which pool mid to replace him.

Firmino is jumping out at the minute but its a lottery with Liverpool this season

Aguero and Rashford out, Costa and Lukaku in is what I'm thinking.

Costa is one yellow away from a suspension

Which he will likely serve in the EFL Cup when he gets a tactical booking against United. ;)

Just did Sterling to Arnie. Was tempted to bring in Morgan for a -4 but doesn't seem worth the gamble.

To get Joe Allen or a cheap bench fodder.

Allen is on 10 goal attempts, 5 on target for 4 goals. Must I stay clear? And get Fletcher or Whelan instead?

I don't see the point in having points on the bench. If I'm happy that my 4 midfielders start then my 5th is bench fodder. Having a half decent defender on the bench helps too.

Bench one of Holebas, Cameron or Valencia??

    Don't bench Cameron.
I'll be playing A.Smith at home to Tottenham instead. At least there's a sniff of attacking returns.

Isn't he one booking away from a ban?

I dunno, it's a one game punt if I'm honest. Hull are dog**** which is why I brought him in

For a one game punt this week I'd have looked no further than the Hammers.

    Costa & Redmond out.

    Sanchez & Grabben in.

Could have done Austin instead of Grabben but I'll be bolstering defence next. Hope it doesn't come back to bite me in the ass.

Somebody tell him an elbow in a face won't work for this.

Good call...that one was suggested last weekend and meant to consider it but forgot about it.
