Think I need Liverpool coverage - sterling to one of mane, firmino or coutinho maybe.
See how things go today & Monday.

    Firmino in I reckon

Might finally lose Marc Wilson if I have no other fires to put out.

    Looking at one of:
    1. Southampton cheapie.
    Cuco Martina/Targett/McQueen/Gardos-
    depending on Cedric/Bertrand/Targett injuries

    2/3. An OOP Special
    McNair or Cameron

    4. Ashley Williams

Lallana in instead of Walcott for the last GW was a mistake. I'll have to rectify this in some way.

Eyeing up Antonio > Walcott and Snodgrass > Allen for a -4 atm.

OK so sterling didn't do anything to convince me to keep him, don't get me wrong, he's been very good this season and I'd like to keep him but not willing to sell sanchez or Walcott at the moment and with Liverpools form and fixtures to come a Liverpool attacking option seems a must! The big question is which one to get! Leaning towards firmino at the moment.

See how Zlatan does. His cost is just waiting to be redistributed and I've 2FT to help that. I'd rather he did some damage though instead.

Allen in for Capoue. Forgot to do it this morning after Capoue's price rise last night and Joe is on fire for club and country whereas Etienne is so GW5 at this stage.
Might also sacrifice Sterling for Walcott but it's probably too late now.

Evans to someone. Probably a Stoke defender.

Mcauley out Cameron in.... Cash saved and now to resist further changes but might sell Rashford who was an impulse buy.

Payet out for somebody... maybe Ozil

Sterling out for someone, dunno who though. Bournemouth got some tasty fixtures so maybe Stanislas.

In - everbody who is going to do crap

Why? He has Sunderland H and is playing in an advanced position. I'm >90% shipping Antonio but he's stationed at right wingback

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,860 ✭✭✭Bleating Lamb

Going getting rid of Antonio...no returns from him lately......not sure whether to go for form over fixtures.

Chadli flying at mo but WBA have v tough next 3 games.
Have a feeling Firmino might do something in next few games...only a hunch.
    Son got rested today.
Would Junior Stanislas be an awful punt altogether?

Probably best in the sub 6.0m bracket now that Hull are dreadful and Snoddy isn't banging in set pieces. Was surprised he's on pens over Wilson, also delivers a nice free kick

Seems to be a year where 'average' players are doing well.Might just take a punt on him....no need to decide tonight anyway, checked and no one important to me moving price wise.

Also ahead of Charlie Daniels too! I've some fire fighting to do.. which is priorty tho, im thinking

    Valencia
    Redmond
    Capoue
    Rashford
    Payet

With Bellerin & Walker in my defence I'm looking a cheap defender for Valencia

Redmond has just returned 1 in 7.. needs gone

Capoue.. the train is over, so looking to cash in and bank .6m with a 4.3m mid

Rashford.. impulse that hasn't worked, will lose his place soon

Payet can wait cause if Sunderland H, but not looking good for a 9.5m player..

Trying to find who to replace with & if worth any hits. 1 FT

Might be time to cut my losses on Kone. It's just that there don't appear to be any defenders that seem worthy of bringing in.

    Any suggestions 5.6 and under?

Have Bellerin, Valencia, Amat and Wilson (urghh) so it's going to be someone that will play every week for me

Clyne? (Or lovren for cheaper option) as Liverpool have a string of great fixtures after united game. They haven't been great at the back but apart from Southampton lately, no one really has been.

Or for a much cheaper punt, stokes next 6 fixtures are decent enough, pieters or Cameron only 4.4

I would take Chadli every time.

He's played 5 games this season: 4 goals and 2 assists.
Since he's been fit, WBA have scored 7 goals, and he's been involved in 6 of them.

I think he's well with 6.5m in any team. If WBA score at all, he's likely to get you points.

    Lukaku/Sterling --> Walcott/Costa.

Someone talk me out of it. I'm tipsy, and it looks like the greatest transfer EVER.

I'd do the sterling to Walcott one anyway. Might hold off on Costa though because lukaku is in good form and has burnley next compared to Costa playing united. Costa also 1 yellow away from a ban.
(Then again I have Costa already, if it feels right go for it)

Why would you be getting rid of Lukaku? He will score more than Costa, on frees and pens .. and is also on form!!

Remains to be seen whether he's on penalties when Baines returns. He's scored 1 free in the PL. Ever.

But yeah, he's > Costa, but mainly cause of the upcoming suspension. Costa is arguably on better form.

Would you use a FT on him for Milner?

I'd bet my bottom dollar he'll get booked in the United game next week, thereby serving his suspension in the EFL Cup game.

Well til Baines returns he will be on them, don't be surprised to see Oviedo get a couple of games.

Yes he did only score 1 ever but Joe Allen never scored in 3 consecutive games and people are getting him in.

Still tho, it's Not a transfer I'd be rushing to do

I done Redmond to Stanislas last night, Taking frees, pens and had returns prior to yesterday. Bournemouth are hitting form and have some nice fixtures coming up!

Oviedo was awful yesterday. Barring a more serious injury setback surely Baines comes straight back in.

Worrying in that regard that Baines wasn't even on the bench.

Barring injuries I'll be able to bank this week. -8 last week sorted my team structure out as I moved back to a 343 set up from a 433 set up.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 858 ✭✭✭mectavba

Was Baines injured or dropped yesterday? Getting fed having my premium defender getting me nothing each week.
Victor Moses at 5.5m anyone? Looks like he has a starting position there for now.
I have 2 FT this week. Ibra still in my squad, taking up more funds than the points he is delivering at the moment. However, I just have a feeling that the games v Liverpool and Chelsea are made for him and could see him scoring in each...they then have Burnley and Swansea.
Mulling over the following changes, which I have the exact amount to do right now:
    Baines > Bellerin
    Sanchez > Walcott
    Deeney > Lukaku
    Thoughts?

For me personally I wouldn't drop sanchez & Deeney also has great fixtures.
I'd prefer to lose ibra to lukaku in your position and then try get Walcott in for one of your cheaper mids.

Probably should have went for Chadli but for the season that's in it I went Snodgrass to Stanislas. Bournemouth are playing well and he's on pens.

They've some quick players and knock the ball about so should win a few.

Yeah I'm thinking of getting him for Puncheon as part of a reshuffle.

One to watch with stokes fixtures

One to wait until he's starts scoring before considering for me. There are a lot of attacking options for basically 2 places in your team (Kun being mandatory).

Yeah he's a bit expensive for the risk too. Hull next though. Their defending was stunningly bad yesterday.

    I may get tempted yet.

    How my team looks

    Cech
    Alderweireld Jagielka Walker
    Capoue Sanchez Son mirallas
    Costa Lukaku ZLATAN

need to change Alderweield with injury for next week

After eight weeks Aguero has two great ones, a good one, three bad ones and a two week suspension.

Those stats suggest he isn't worth keeping at his price. What say others?

I have made two transfers which are Out: Sanchez, Barry In: Walcott, Firminho

I'm really tempted to take a hit to get rid of Aguero this week too.

I'm considering it, would allow me to bring in Costa and upgrade Sterling to KDB

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,022 ✭✭✭✭Iused2likebusts

I won't be selling aguero but I do think its a season of no must haves. There is an array of options in both midfield and attack that can all deliver . The key is to not panic when one of the ones you don't have scores highly.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,817 ✭✭✭bantee

Thinking Capoue to Allen but will see how he does today.

Allen seems like a good tranfer to bring in...

    My GW transfers
    IN: walcott , vertonghen
    OUT: mirallas , alderwiereld

This question comes up every year.

Aguero will have one weekend where he could end your season if you don't have him captained - that's what makes him essential for me.

Remember QPR a couple of years back? I'd been trailing a rival for months until that day.

Every season he'll have one weekend at least where he delivers a bonanza score.

Would you be panicking if you didn't have Walcott? He's the only one that scares me atm.

Depends who else I had. I took an 8 pt hit as I only had 6 decent attackers. You can't have them all. The good thing about Walcott as a non owner is that most with him won't captain him.

I would be. He's a top player in this game when on form and, at his price this season, there's no justifiable excuse not to have him.

That's a bit harsh. It's very rare to have 2 mids from the same club. With Arsenal there are so many options and before the international break people were tearing up their team to get Sanchez in.
