What to do with Leighton Baines? Not too many defenders in the 5.5 price range jumping out at me.
Lovren or Stoke defence and use the funds elsewhere?

Can you get Walker and Austin with Capoue (sold for 4.9) to a 4.3/4.4?
Lovren instead of walker would save you the hit or perhaps just get Austin this week.

I could but I'm losing faith in spacecraft!

Lads love some help if possible, heres the team

    Heaton-Foster
    Robertson-Daniels-Shaw-Friend-Wasielski
    Silva-Walcott-Firminho-Capoue-Townshend
    Aguero-Lukaku-Gray

    Have 1m in the bank

    Thinking
    Roberston-> Walker
    Townshend->Stansilas
    Gray->Austin

Is it worth taking a -4 to get those 3 in?

Personally I think you'd be mad to get Walker in. Spurs had a tough CL game and play away to a Bournemouth team early Sat morning who scored 6 last time out (against rubbish opposition I know). They then take on last year's champions before a North London Derby against Arsenal. Not exactly the cushiest of runs. For 6m I'd definitely be looking at alternatives. Some have mentioned the kind fixtures others have coming up (Liverpool and Stole spring to mind) and they have some very good <5m options. They mightnt have the greatest of defences but they have a good chance of at least 3 clean sheets over the next 6 games which would be a decent return.

For this gw? Both have pretty tough fixtures.

Going to have fun with Clyne for a few weeks and when it goes sour go back to Friend again who will be waiting, he always does.

Leicester defence. Only realised last night they have only conceded 1 goal at home this season.

    Palace (h)
    Spurs (a)
    West Bron (H)
    Watford (a)
    Boro (h)
    Sunderland (a)

    Differential gold or steer clear??

aagghhh....can't decide if my squad is ok & stable or if i need to do something drastic  Any feedback, words of encouragement, advice much appreciated....

    Foster Jakupovic

    Valencia VVD Vertonghen Amat A.Smith

    Mané Lallana Eriksen Walcott Capoue

    Lukaku Benteke Agueroooo

Latest thinking is Eriksen to Allen which would leave me with enough funds for Benteke to Costa next week.

Been disappointed with Eriksen since WC - 1 assist, a couple of blanks and a no show since i got him in. Allen is on form, cheap and has nice fixtures I guess but I fear I've probably missed his very unlikely hot streak.

Not sure what else to do (if anything) - a Stoke defender is tempting but happy enough with my Triple V Force defence...I think. Pieters/Cameron are appealing but not sure who to move on to make way for them.

Anyway sorry for rambling -- 2nd season playing this game properly and it's starting to drive me mad (in a good way :D)

Out of these three, who would you start this week:

    Puncheon (away to Leicester)
Capoue (away to Swansea) - already have Deeney and Holebas
    Amat (home to Watford)

Due to Leicester being decent enough at home this season, I'm thinking of the Watford triple....but a bit nervous about it.

After cashing in on Jaku last week, I've gone for Capoue ->Fletcher this week, giving me an extra 0.5m in the bank.

Nice to have been happy enough with my team that I didn't have to make changes anywhere else.

Very reliant on Watford then but if you have Amat you're looking at 2 points max if Deeney & Holebas goes well. I'd go Capoue.

I've Puncheon and Capoue. Capoue is always my sub though. Leicester not been brilliant from set plays so if Puncheon is on the frees could be a shout there. But wouldn't be hugely confident of any of them!

    Siggy out.

Play Rashford or Capoue? Rashford will start but may do more defending than attacking.

I didn't even consider Leicester but I may bring in Schmeichel now for Foster. They don't seem to give a **** about the league but even still, you'd be expecting around 3 cleansheets for those 6 games.

I'm finding it a tad mad that people think Liverpool have a good chance of a clean sheet this weekend.

They are pretty poor at set pieces and playing a team that love trying to score from set pieces.

WBA have scored in 4 games running, potentially a record for a Pullis team.

    Can't last! :)

Thinking of Fuchs for Baines so adding a few bonus and an assist or 2 hopefully.

    It's fun to Fuchs.

Does Leicester def rotate well with anyone in particular over those 5-6 weeks

@Cartman: I think your team is fine and you can bank it this week. Not great keeper wise but I have the same pb and haven't yet found a solution...

@mectavba: depends if you want to spread risk or go for it. With the former you can hope for a hypothetical Swansea strenghtening at the back and play Amat (such that if your Watford duet fails at least you'd have a consolation CS) or a Puncheon awakening (unlikely with Leicester home defensive form). With the latter you go for the less worse (more suitable wording than best considering Capoue late form) option on paper if you did not own Deeney.

    --

As for me. Plan was to cash in on Jaku and get Grant for a couple of GWs. Still worth it? Or am I better going with Pickford? I don't fancy WB next 3 games so the plan was to get a cheapie for that period. Grant is perfect for that (hul, SWA, whu). Butland is expected to return in 4 games time. But then I'm left with a probably non playing sub-keeper. Pickford fixtures aren't as good (whu, ARS, bou) but he's first choice so a priori long-term.

Or now that I've lost my £0.1m profit from Jaku, am I better ditching Foster (WB only got 2 CS so far) but with only £0.4m ITB there's no outstanding replacement.

Other transfers. Cashing in on Capoue who's probably dropping tonight (if he follows Jaku footsteps). But no idea for who. Or ditching Rashford. Austin & Wilson of form but their respective fixture this GW aren't appealing and United next 2 are good.

Roll the FT assuming a Capoue fall in price doesn't affect your plan.
A 4.3M fifth mid looks a goer with your 4th and 5th defs.
