Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. The actors done their part even if the writing itself was beyond ridiculous. Just watching that program collision at the moment that was aired on itv a while back....hmmm they hardly copied it did they?

I thought Dan was a trainee paramedic now, where was he?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,503 ✭✭✭✭Also Starring LeVar Burton

Just got around to watching tonights two episodes. Great stuff altogether - John Middleton was superb as usual portraying Ashley's dementia.

Really hoping Ashley, Aaron and Paddy make it through the week - I actually don't want anyone to die, unless Chrissie somehow manages to get caught up in the carnage...

    I'm wondering about Cain and/or Charity.......;)

    I'm wondering about Cain and/or Charity.......;)

    They
hit the front next week and from Monday (per TV guide) "Cain is incriminated." (In what? Can't remember recent spoilers.) Then during the week features Cain, Charity and Noah.

That running parallel to the aftermath of the crash and Lacky auditioning for BGT as an illusionist.

Did anyone notice just before Lachlan appeared on screen, the camera pans across peoples feet, about 4 people, when the camera came to the last pair its Lachlan. I found it really strange who where the other people!? When Robert went over after Lachlan there was no one else there! Vic and Adam were over with Arron at the ambulance.

Well each to their own. I suppose. I also find jeremy kyle and Ben sheppard attractive.

    Very true

Did Batty Barton get the drugs for Holly? Did she kill her?

Would answer the question as to why they showed the open window!

Well considering she was away on holidays with Charlie Stubbs the week before Holly died and only got back a couple of days after if I recall, I would probably say no!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,653 ✭✭✭DJIMI TRARORE

So the crash happened on Monday,no one dead yet. English funerals usually take 10-14 days r more, so that wud leave the start of mon-thurs episodes in November?

Car hit ice and flew off towards a cliff. Balanced on cliff for a while, moira got out but the jeep flew off cliff with John. He was saved but died in hospital. Very uneventful exit to be fair

When you think about it a bit, surely most of them should have died? If something like this happened in reality, I don't think every single person directly involved would survive the scene long enough to be taken to hospital.

Couldn't believe it when I saw Paddy sitting there with his arm in a sling. Last night were given the impression he was at deaths door FFS !

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 18,050 ✭✭✭✭The Talking Bread

yeah, as if he would f'in leave the lad dying in hospital to risk his life jumping into a quarry lake for a stupid ring. Ludricuous writing just to play on the hearstrings of the Robron obsessors!!!

Other than that, good episode thus far.

Glad it wasn't Aaron. himself and Rhonda scrubbed up well for the funeral given the state of them in the hospital.

Reckon Ashley is afraid to say he saw an "angel" on the bridge..they might think he's losing it.........:D

ah yes! I remember the car dangling scene. So Emma can't be brought into that either. Shame.

I have LOVED this week! It was so brilliantly done. The teasing out of it tonight at the funeral was brilliant. The crash itself was jaw dropping! When Pierce was sitting in the car and the next one came bundling through I yelped! Then the motorbike flying over Ashleys head!!! It was terrific viewing. And now it leads into Ashley vs Emma. The woman who plays her btw is so good!!

    I'm sad it's over now :D

I was down in the Mater and they put emmerdale on in the ward!

I don't think it springs forward. That scene at the end will occur again in a couple of weeks I imagine. Ross wasn't at the funeral but he features next week. The actor is heading off to climb Everest so he exits for a while.

Sorry you're at the hospital though!

Ross was at the funeral. Did I not see him beside Finn?

    Ross was at the funeral

How the hell was Paddy up and about, pretty sure he was bleeding from side or back and passed out from loss of blood

Why was Pierce at James funeral?

No Cain or any other Dingles at hospital to see Aaron

I would have preferred James stayed alive even in a coma state and Rhona was killed off, injuries from Pierce moving her

Here's the problem if Rhona is ever killed off, it would mean there's a good chance Cain would leave too. They're married in real life, and Jeff Hordley has said in the past it suits them both to stay in the show as long as they can, especially while their kids are young as it's solid work for both of them and because they're not in filming all the time it gives them a lot of time to spend with their children too.

I really hate that it was James, will his sons ever find out the real reason their dad is dead? That horrible sick twisted b1tch Emma.

To be honest , I thought myself that Rhona might possibly die .

Just glad Aaron didn't though :)

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,978 ✭✭✭wyrn

I honestly thought they'd do the old switcheroo, where the 3 critical people would be ok and someone from the walked-away-without-a-bother would just suddenly collapse. My money was on Paddy until Aaron propose. I was convinced he'd just drop dead but no, they went with the obvious choice, James.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 87,485 ✭✭✭✭JP Liz V1

Emma killing Moira or Moira killing Emma, now that would have been a good shock twist with Ross the witness

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 18,050 ✭✭✭✭The Talking Bread

Why in Gods name could they not just have kept shush that Charlie Stubbs was leaving??????? It would have made the death a lot better, impact wise. I thought they were making the great efforts they were in the media as to publicising his exit so as that it may be a red herring as to who the victim tonight was going to be.

I thought he may die in a few weeks maybe but someone else would be the death tonight.

A bit anti climatic in that sense. Lacked that big twist. Although they did the last scene well.

A few weeks isn't too much to keep quiet?

I would hate for the show to lose Jeff as Cain is a great character but I never viewed Rhona as a good legendary long term character and Jeff was on the show before his missus joined and when he did leave, he didn't do anything else which surprised me as Jeff is such a good actor, think he would be great in something along the lines of Ordinary Lies or The Accused

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,347 ✭✭✭LynnGrace

It was a pity that it was already well known that James would die. I thought for a few minutes last night that we were back to the good old days where someone would die unexpectedly - or indeed a number of them would be wiped out. I thought Rhona was a goner.
