Ah anecdotes. You can't disprove an anecdote

Relatives, too; it must be true, so.
There's nothing as true as a story related by a bitter relative.

    Serious question.

I'm beginning to think that there's serious bucks in this crèche business? Am I right?

People with no kids don't get children's allowance Joe.

Any nobody is really sure as to who gets this new childcare package until the details are released later in the finance bill.

"Cast down" again. Twice cast - go for a third, Joe.

"God you are cast down, you really are, aren't you?"
    LOL

This lad is quite right. The ESRI even reported this a couple of years ago and they were shut up quick. No point in anybody working with a family of 2 or 3 children and under €30,000 a year. Other than for self respect.

If you have the patience to put up with a gaggle of screeching children, yes.

Kiddies and pensioners - grand money in it. Big advantage of kiddies is they leave at the end of the afternoon.

    Children are an awful inconvenience!

This lad talks a bit more sense than the 2 earlier callers. Increase the tax free allowance for those in such situations rather than pay those who stay at home.

Not sure what exactly he's saying, but I think dole should be called emergency living expenses, and if you have enough to pay for a holiday out of that your getting too much.
