    So these mothers basically want to be paid by the state to look after their own kids? Seriously?

    Childcare businesses - proper registered ones - generate jobs and tax, hence subsidies can be given. People not working to stay at home sadly does not.

    Honestly, some people will never be happy.

    Do you know why there'll be no room? Because the demand currently isn't there. If the demand started to increase then the number of spaces may increase, either in the current daycare place, or new ones opening up.

    Joe gave the guy short shrift yesterday who was trying to make the same point. Maybe the secret to not being cut off is to provide a cast down story of your own first.
