Hopefully just one caller will be prepared to acknowledge that state resources are finite.

It's not too much to ask for, is it?

My furst time listening in a few weeks and I'm greeted with this geebag telling us how amazing she is and how much money she USED to earn and how amazing she is (did I mention that?) and how she's benefitting the community etc. Next she'll be telling us she's rearing "Independent Critical Thinkers".

Btw, I'm pretty sure your former colleagues are glad you left.

If these people can survive without working outside the home, then their not badly off at all.

Why would the government subsidise people not to work and then pay tax?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,886 ✭✭✭✭Roger_007

Why don't those two women swap their children and then they would qualify for the crèche money?

The recognition is that you're not have to pay up to and over a grand a month to pay for one child to attend daycare. If you can afford not to work, you aren't in too bad a situation financially compared to the couples who both need to work to keeps their heads above water.
