Do you reckon the Dodgers will stick with Urias or go with Kershaw on short rest now that they're in an elimination game?

Playoff Kershaw isn't regular season Kershaw but I wouldn't trust Urias either.

Damn and blast!! Cubs ended up with only one reliever and one outfield player left at the end!! Very hard on Montgomery being given the loss considering he pitched so well for 4 innings.

Giants are now 10-0 (TEN AND OH!!) in elimination games going back to 2003!!

I have a feeling the Cubs will be very flat tonight and be blown out. Back to Wrigley for the decider I think...

If I was the Dodgers I go to Kershaw on short rest. But he wasn't good in game 1 so I think they leave him till game 5 to try to get him the rest he needs, he hasn't really been himself since he came back and has only pitched over 90 pitches in one game since returning from the DL I think and that was game 1. Nats at the moment seeing the ball well and we have depth in the line up, its nerve wrecking but the playoffs are fun.

Giants just wont give up. If I was a Cubs fan I would hope they do it tonight a game 5 against the greatest elimination team in baseball history might be too much for these young cubs but that said they did everything but win last night. Denard Span man, loved the guy when he played for the Nats and he sparked the Giants last night.

Both in the semi final if you will (Western Conference/American League). Really tough series to call. I'm praying the Jays bats stay hot. If they do i think we'll win and I do think our starting pitching is better but there bullpen is arguably one of the best in baseball and thats huge in tight games.

Got my ticket for game 4 sorted, hoping to head to game 5 too providing its not a sweep!

Thought Dodgers could win this series in 3 games. Now feel we'll get knocked out tonight.
Our hitting, in the main part has been poor.
The amount of runners left on base has been scandalous.
All the games seem to have followed the same pattern.
    Dodgers take an early lead
    Dodgers starters looks shakey
Nats get a lead off of our starter (apart from game 1)
Dodgers can't get the runs they need, and Nats get shut out by our relievers (apart from the 9th last night)

Think the Dodgers are better off starting Urias tonight. Otherwise, we could have him against Max in game 5

Hopefully Ross takes a win tonight and the Nats go home with the victory. Don't know why you would expect to win in 3 against this squad. I was very surprised there have been two sweeps in the AL I would have expected much tighter match ups. I expect the Giants to somehow pull out a win tonight and push the Cubs all the way.

Kershaw going tonight so even if the Dodgers win tonight, Scherzer should give the Nats the edge in Game 5 if we get there.

I should really get out of the prediction game with the success I usually have but I fancy the Cubs tonight. The last thing they want is to go back to Chicago (and Bumgarner on no rest coming in in relief and shutting them down) so I reckon they get it done tonight. All streaks come to an end at some stager and this #belEVEN stuff is getting annoying.

Kinda like every curse must end .. the Cubs are a great story and were the best team in baseball in the regular season. I think the Giants will find a way tonight, big ball park in San Fran and the Cubs had a problem sending it out. If it goes back to the friendly confines of Wrigley though they SHOULD be ok. That said personally I fancy the Giants tonight.

Imagine the pressure that's going to be on The Cubs if it goes to a Game 5. The whole city's going to be ready to jump off the ledge as soon as there's a hint of something going wrong.

Its true the entire City will melt down if the Cubs dont do it this year, if they do handle the Giants though and we can negotiate the Dodgers I fancy us to give them a hell of a series

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Daniel Murphy loves the playoffs.

The only thing worse for Mets fans than not being still in it, is the fact that players they let go for nothing are banging in runs all over the place. Murphy and Turner seem to hit RBIs every game.

Both carrying the Dodgers offensive from what i've seen. Them and Kershaw!

    Murph's a Nat.

And since when did Oliver Perez learn how to throw strikes?

Ah yes, got Murphy confused with Seager.

7 players hit by pitches in this series.

It was funny that the Dodgers crowd booed the last one with the bases loaded. As if he did that on purpose.

I could watch Kershaw pitch all day. Great performance on 3 days rest.

2 relievers and 3 pitches later and all his good work is undone.

Wait till he gets to Wrigley. He was on fire there in last year's NLCS.

If the Nats go onto win the WS, that inning will be talked about. The hustle of Espinosa, Harper's at bat and Murph being Murph.

EDIT - now a meaningless inning.

Once less start for Scherzer in the NLCS now if the Nats get through.
