can you rent a room out to a hooker and claim tax and other reliefs?

    Declare tax to Revenue.

Sort out any......ehhhhh....."reliefs" with the hooker in person, caller.

Surely there's a tapering-off of qualification for the creche grant?

Otherwise it doesn't pay to take a pay-rise above a certain level if you're on 47k per annum.

so to pay 1600 she has to earn 3K a month, what wages is she on that that is worth her while?

    no, thought so myself

Your entitlement to mortgage interest relief depends on the relevant start date, as follows:
    • If you started paying the mortgage in 2003 or earlier, your entitlement expired in 2009.
    • For a mortgage taken out between 1 January 2004 and 31 December 2012, your entitlement to relief will continue until the end of 2017.
    • Mortgages taken out after 31 December 2012 do not qualify for mortgage interest relief.

We were paying that for a couple of years, now the oldest is in primary school and the youngest gets 2 years of the free ECCE program or whatever it's called. It's like we won the lotto with the extra cash we have.

I recognise Marie's voice (hard to forget that moany drawl), think she was the one who worked in a multinational, bought in a 'privileged area in Dublin' and quit to look after the kids...

    Thought so too.

So she doesn't think we should tax corporations as per EU rules, but she does think she should be paid to stay at home and babysit her own fcuking children.

Can we talk about ANYTHING other than kids?

I don't have any, I don't want any, the costs of same make absolutely no difference to me, they are of zero interest to me.

And this is Lahvline - it should be all about ME
