They do spawn but rarely.

Yep, thanks. Walked up and down the quay for an hour today and caught 11, including my new highest cp karp at 154. Will have to change him to my buddy once I get enough candies from my Weepinbell.

Nah, I cashed in my ten coins last night so everything I did today was just for ****s and giggles and a bit of xp. My 22 hours should be up soon but I CBA going out so might have a crack tomorrow if there's anything low level within range.

Paris was great today, helps I walked the guts of thirty k, but I'm now up to 136 in the pokedex! I'm six k away from evolving Kabuto! 30 candies away from kadabra evolve! The other three I have left to evolve are fecking miles away from evolving! Just need that elusive hitmonchan to make an appearance and I can walk the rest to evolution!
Anyone feel like your buddy influences the egg hatches? I had three diglet candies last week, made him a buddy a couple of days back and hatched about four of them to end up with 65 or so candies today!

Was my first Sandshrew I have caught ten bellsprout. So getting one from an egg was meh.

Big time, all of my buddies are now way over as a result.
I have an Alakazam and 30 Abra candies left over.

I found a mystic gym (level 6) with nothing but Dragonites in it on Leeson St.

My only regret was not leaving a Magikarp in the gym afterwards.....because I could.

One of those Dragonites was mine, there was 7 there on Thursday...got my Dragonite back yesterday so presume the Gym has been taken now though

First time posting so hopefully I'm doing this correctly.

Regarding the gym going yellow in Mullingar with nobody close by, was there perhaps a Variety World shop in the vacinity? Met the guy who runs the shop in Portlaoise while tackling the gym just outside his door. He said they have a place in Mullingar where he can reach a gym and a couple of pokestops without stepping outside the door. And he's definitely team yellow.

Disabling SU has no effect, the message unable to authenticate comes up still every time.

I've installed the game on an old phone and running it on that with my current (whole manufacturer seems to be blocked) phone acting as hotspot, but it's a lot of hassle and I don't know how long I'll keep that up before quitting.
