Used to sell the Gallagher stuff in a past life it's top notch stuff. That unit is rated for 10 joules which is not allowed in the EU anymore. It should easily do 200 acres the 1200 said it could do 600 acres on the box.

I don't think 10joules plus is banned our fence is a G303 and i'v two of them and its 33joules. and i see them for sale every where

Right this is the last post on this horse.:p

Jumped in the consolation final just now.
About 50 horses gone so far.
Michael and majestic were booting it around the course and just tipped the second last fence (4 faults).
They finished up 5 seconds faster than the current leader.
They had to really go for it though as nothing to lose.

I don't know how anyone owns a showjumper.
    I'd be dead with a heart attack.:pac:

Two done this evening. Have about seven more to do. Fairly happy with them considering they're €30 each to buy. :)

If you don't mind me asking.... What are they?
    Is it picket fence panels?

Still, I think I'll turn the pressure washer on the boy and put him in his best clothes.

    Just in case.

The hens here are fenced out of a hedge by electric fence. They get a rap off it and don't be long learning not to go near it again.

Ahh they've fairly open range above at my gfs, so twas the only option. Bitta paint now and they'll be sorted.

Yeah its used to be good at it alrite nearly cut down a tree for ya. Mine needs to be re erathed I used copper wire and I need to change it for 2.5mm double insulated wire. Some one told me to get an old copper cylinder cut the top of it bury it with a digger and fill it with damp clay anyone else ever heard of this

    Don't do this.
The point where you connect the steel cable to the copper will oxidise and start to insulate from each other, eventually the earth won't work.

Personally I think completly burying the earth is risky as you can't check it in the future.

Better choose a damp spot, 3 1 meter long stakes 1 meter apart each. Steel stakes.

You can buy earth bars at most agri stores

There will be a spec in the instructions saying how many earth bars are needed.

My Pel needed 10 earth bars but as we couldn't drive them into the ground full length, we had to put in 5 more to properly earth it.
