    Calling the knock on?!

  • Registered Users Posts: 888 ✭✭✭Cathalthesmart

Dragons are brutal and we still can't win...

Frustrating end to a good move

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,386 ✭✭✭✭DDC1990

Jesus. Where was the knock on at the previous break down?

Nothing close to a knock on as far as I could see.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

No chance that was a dragons penalty.

Very disappointing to be level in this game.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,459 ✭✭✭kuang1

    Frustrating half.
Dragons should get absolutely nothing from this game.
If they do it's a bad day out for us.

    It's cringeworthy.

    2 offences = 2 penalties, surely? :D

Stuart Barnes is so completely clueless I just can't handle it. Please can someone hire him as a coach or something to get him out of my life.

Munster have really done nothing in the second half, been very poor.

Dragons were pretty rubbish in the first 20 but they've been the better side since. Munster's attack seems fairly clueless

Combinations that have never played together both at 9/10 and 12/13. Still doesn't excuse some of the rubbish from us.

    Now that's a good move

    I would shoot Sweetnam.

    Right now.

    Sweetnam...whew

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 37,978 ✭✭✭✭irishbucsfan

That was really nice, great to see that. Would certainly have wanted a closer look if I was a Dragons fan but more important was the really nice play before the try.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,899 ✭✭✭✭BBDBB

Much better pace and incisive running

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

They have to kick, pretty much only Stander is breaking the gainline at all.

Referee ignored 19 lying on the Munster side preventing the ball being put back by Killer.

In fairness, he missed a clear obstruction for the last try so lets not complain...

Sweetnam is really good under a high ball in fairness.

Ref has been a bit rubbish all day, so we'll take the one that went our way tyvm

How the feck is it they're penalty?

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,459 ✭✭✭kuang1

God almighty lads...we have no one at all to play 10.
    No one.
    No one.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,899 ✭✭✭✭BBDBB

Good kick under pressure from the dragons

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,899 ✭✭✭✭BBDBB

We made heavy weather of that
For a game we should have put out of sight against this opposition

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

We won't be winning anything this year anyway. If we get top 6, we will be doing well.

  • Registered Users Posts: 888 ✭✭✭Cathalthesmart

That was a grim grim performance.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,599 ✭✭✭ScrubsfanChris

Attack letting defense down big time.

At least it's September and not April, time to improve

Well let's give Bleyendaal a bit of time to get fit but if that's what he's bringing to the table then... Bill Johnston?

Delighted for JR, he's really brought it this year.

Painful to watch but can't be easy to play when the referee doesn't seem to understand the breakdown at all.

If that try had been disallowed and it seems the TMO was pushing for that I think we would have lost this.

    Pretty shambolic.

Wasn't overly impressed with Tyler but he has the year to improve, Murray was a little off but will improve next week. Stander continues to save Munster every single match, without him there would have been no champions cup this year.

Will be the end of year before Johnston is available but he's definitely worth a shot in the pro 12.
Scannell and Saili/Arnold will be massive additions midfield options just aren't good enough at the moment.

    Or ibf?
    You fit?!

Smart running lines. The very thing Joe Schmidt has built his sides around.

I don't think the IRFU would sanction the signing, unfortunately for Munster

Didn't realise Johnston would be out that long, big shame and hopefully won't set back his development too far.

Holland retiring was such a kick in the teeth. I thought Bleyendaal started well and then faded.

Provided you don't run into and block a player and give away a penalty, the exact opposite to what Joe would look for, very lucky to get away with it and if you can't see the difference you haven't been paying attention.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,899 ✭✭✭✭BBDBB

Even the mighty All Blacks get pinged for lazy running occasionally;)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,427 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Sweetnam looks a very handy player tbf. Was less impressed with the rest of the backs but that'll improve as Earls and Zero come back to match fitness. Centres are a problem.
