It all depends on your neighbours and what it is you're looking for yourself.

Some will camp near people who'll sing all night and hate it, while the crowd next to you might love it and join in.

Hendrix will be exactly like Oxegen....

Ah jaysus. It's hardly as rough as oxegen was during its last three years ? As long as me tent isn't ransacked and there aren't killings left right and center I'm happy.

Ah I'm joking really! Hendrix is just probably the youngest of the five camps. I've spent a bit of time in there with friends and have had no issues. I usually stay in Wilde. But you've people in here saying Wilde's the worst and I'd never agree!

So really it's what you make it of it yourself, and if you're going with EP veterans you'll be fine!

Automated online forecasts should always be taken with a pinch of salt, usually based on one model run without an human intervention.

We'll have the latest high resolution models shortly, the Harmonie model run which goes as far as midday Saturday so far wasn't great but we'll have more info soon.

Would anyone have a Google maps pin drop of the entrance to the green car park. Pretty please

Soz to mods if that pic breaches a rule. 30mm+ of rain in a couple hours is a mess however. I remember place cutting up pretty bad in '08 ( I think?) - this would be way worse.

Usually stay in Joplin: never had a sniff of trouble and while the walk's a bit longer it's always 'interesting'.

Have to agree re joplin, always strikes me as an older crowd.

Quick question..where do you have to show your ticket first?? Friends who have my ticket will be in there before me and are planning on coming out with the ticket to me. Will this work alright!?

Which of the bus companies (BE, Marathon, Kavanagh's) is likely to involve the least queuing to get on a bus would you imagine?

Green is a bit of a strange one as it's so spread out and seems to change from year to year.

I reckon it's in or around here:

Arriving late Friday so aiming for the small Chaplin site just to the right of the wrist band exchange. Anyone stayed there?

Stayed there last year and opting for it again this year. Its only minutes further than Oscar Wilde without all the shenanigans. Not as far to carry stuff and want to be strategically close enough to the toilets but not too close for the inevitable early morning dash. Lol

This will work but allot of hassle if your friend isn't 100% dedicated in getting to you, you may end up waiting for quite a while.
If it were me personally I'd be going to all lengths to get the ticket today or beforehand.

Yes. Yoi swap tickets for wristbands at one of the entrances. They can come out and in when they have their wristbands. Just make sure they know which entrance you're at. or which carpark you came from

    +1

It's a pain in the arse doing it tomorrow for all involved.
Get them to leave it somewhere a shop or something in a envelope you can pick it up.

Its OK theres no need to be embarrassed, this is clearly a case of a temporary shift in the earth's tilt axis, the other people were hammered that's why they stayed upright.
