Might pop into town so for a final look is the one in Henry street still open?

Finding the signs in store confusing. 70% off all stock.
DVD's and BD 5 for €10 does it include all discs.
Boxsets €10.50 random price point or what. Would make sense if they all started at €35 but some of them were less than €10 pre sale.

It's all discs. If you buy them individually and not in batches of 5, its a 70% discount still.

It's the boxsets that concern me most were never €35 to start with, so if I see one I want now will it be the stickered price or 10.50

Well I bought some boxsets in there and they were included in the 5 for a tenner deal. Staff didn't give a ****e.

Fcuk all left yesterday. Everything is 10 for €10. Spent €20 today and got 14 CDs and 6 DVDs.

Thought as much. Totally missed out on all of this but just seeing if it's worth my while rushing after work before it closes. Guess not!

I got 20 blus for €20 in Liffey Valley yesterday. Got plenty of stuff I had never heard of, eg Some Guy Who Kills People, which gets mostly good reviews :).

However, I also got some Nicolas Cage films :o

The sign in Liffey Valley said it was closing on Monday (today). Not sure about the others.

What's Dundrum like, just a smattering of blu-rays as well?

dropped into HMV in liffey vally after getting out of sausage party today (monday) so its still open alright.

that said HALF the shelves in the store are bare now. the only stock is up the front so i cant see it lasting much longer. be probably gone by the end of the week.

Dundrum is worse off than Henry st for DVDs tbh.

Staff in Henry st and Dundrum said they're finished on Wednesday. It'll be slim pickings by then.

Picked up 10 dvds today, some fairly decent and some cack. The Crescent branch had a vast quantity of Being AP.

Over the course of the sale, picked up Tokarev and Pay the Ghost myself.

You weren't lying. Only saw this post after I had decided to pop in, no blu-rays left.

It would be nice if someone told me the staff had decimated the world cinema section once the sale was announced and that I never stood a chance.

Have a heart mate, they've just lost their job. Let them have a few DVDs

Of course this vulture culture of only buying when a place is closing down is horrible, and I sympathise with those out of a job, but my previous comment had nothing to do with this.
