****ing hell, McKay off the crossbar.

Clint Hill and Kiernan really are hopeless at times, Boyd actually managed to get a ball in between both of them.

Then you should probably know that he's not the one dishing out dangerous tackles.

    Yeah, totally deserved that

Disappointed with that tonight. Felt we should have got the three points once we equalized and they went down to ten. Not sure what Warburton was thinking with the Halliday sub.

Whatever about Barton not dishing out many bad tackles whilst at The Rangers he has dishes out plenty prior to that, it's one of the reasons many folk don't like him, he's a classic case of dishing it out but not being able to take it. This isn't a dig at The Rangers, just a dig about Joey Barton and his deserved reputation.

Apologies for what I started there it's like leaving the gates open and banging a drum in the walkin dead :)

    Of course it does.

He has no history with Kilmarnock or the player who was sent off tonight. He was subject to a terrible, potential leg breaking tackle and the referee was right to send Taylor off for the tackle. That's the long and short of it.

    Of course it does.

To you to me he comes with a clean sheet he steps out of line I will be the first to shoot him down. And to be honest mate your opinion of Rangrs players is irrelevant

I don't think anyone is arguing against that but Joey Barton is considered by many to be a very difficult footballer or person to like, regardless of what team he plays for. I didn't see the tackle but have heard that a red was thoroughly deserved.

Barton is one of the most hated men in football, his faux hard man image is one reason why many don't like him.

EDIT - Just watched the tackle there, horrific.

I'd rather someone came at me with a rash tackle that I could hurdle and ride, than someone putting a cigar out in my eye. Karma.

One dosent justify the other though.

Pretty horrible, particularly given the atmosphere in the UK at the moment, to hear the songbook out in force last night.

The tackle on Barton desrved a red for being reckless.

Lucky not to be nursing a broken leg if he caught his leg properly and it was blind luck he didnt
