    Rumour has it we (Dundalk) are signing Dean Shiels. He any use? Bit concerned that he'd be kept by Rangers if he was.

    He will give you 100% I always thought he was better coming off the bench.
    We were never going to keep him most of the players from that era are now gone pretty sure its only Wallace and Miller thats left

    At LoI level you should get a fair few goals and assists from him over the course of the season. Could turn out to be a decent bit of business for you.

    He can play anywhere along the front or and Imo his best position an attacking midfielder. Hope he can do he business for you lot and you have a great season

    Wasn't been smart i just never knew that payment happened, doesn't kick in until next year but is a real help to all the clubs

    Ok sorry yes it's something that should be appreciated lots of clubs are finding it difficult. There was a report the other week where it seems one club is on the brink and another couple are struggling.

    Yeah i read that as well, it's a bit surprising because the TV and sponsorship money has gone up recently and is stable for the next 3 years at least. And hopefully in 2018 the SPFL will be in a position to demand more money from brocasters for TV rights.
