How many bouts in total has he done? Apparently fencing is the weakest event for both him and coyle

Ah I wasn't implying he was up to anything dodgy at all and don't see how one could imply the Cuban is either

No, I'm simply saying if anyone was to suggest that of Barr, they would be wrong. Athletes don't start taking steroids three weeks before a Games and their form improves rapidly (if anything, they would be on them six or nine months beforehand).

I'd say if she had turned pro earlier, she could easily be pushing top 50 in the world, maybe lower. She seems to have the ability. But the top pros are scarily good right now. I watched that Thai golfer win the British Open recently, she's not in Rio I don't think, without carrying a driver in her bag. She struck a 2-iron off most tees 250-260 yards down the fairway. With that kind of length, I can see her becoming dominant.

She's there alright, sure wasn't she leading after 1st round?

    Stephanie shot 66!
65/66...20 shots better than their combined score yesterday!

I was limiting it to the statement about improvement in the Turk's times

Modern Pentathlon: Arthur Lanigan O'Keeffe currently lies in 12th position one third of the way through the men's modern pentathlon fencing ranking round.

After a strong start which saw him lead the table with a record of five wins and one loss, he has slipped down the table thanks to a 7-6 record.

In all, he will take on each of the other 35 competitors today meaning he has plenty of time to make the ground back up.

Yes I was mistaken, only began to pick up on the golf today. Not sure why I thought she wasn't there! Pretty tepid round of level par for her today. Not sure length is such a premium on this golf course, from what I've seen of it anyway, so that advantage not going to be so pronounced for her.

16 wins from 35, imagine he'll be well disappointed with that.

As an equine enthusiast I found Water "Polo" quite disappointing.

Never watched as much hockey in my life as these past 2 weeks, more of this and I'll be close to calling myself a fan. That Belgian goal was simply stunning, 2-3 with one quarter remaining and the atmosphere is electric.

Silver medal to Water Polo..you'd think they could use some of the modern pentathlon horses for it wouldn't you:D

That goal was the best piece of skill I have seen at any sport this Olympics. Great stuff altogether

Amazing stuff. Thoroughly enjoyed that evenings entertainment. Was sure Belgium were going to equalise there, some pressure in the last 5 minutes and some defending by Argentina!
