When I ordered (from UK to UK) it said ships within 8 days, in reality it shipped the day after I ordered and was delivered 6 days after ordering. This was two weeks ago.

Graphite version 2 weeks? Try and see how long does it ship on the Soft Gold version. They have low stocks regarding the Graphite version. Just wait a bit if you have time. Normally if they're in stock you'll receive the phone in a week. 5-7 working days.

Ships within 10 days, dont think it would arrive before friday in the UK also not to gone on the gold and white front.

Lads can I ask a functionality question about the dual sim please?

It is possible to use one sim for calls and texts (mainly receiving) and one sim for data (e.g. if im in the US and get a sim from a local provider for data).

    Thanks a million

The only thing to consider is the SIM you wish to use for data must be in tray 1 location.

Great stuff, thanks folks. Now to try and get my hands on one.

Mine arrived the other day while I was away on holidays, took exactly one week.
I went for the gold version and was a little disappointed with it when I saw it first so I had slight regrets for not ordering the normal one. After a couple of days I came back round to it and decided it wasn't that bad looking after all.
Apart from that it's a really nice phone and setting it up was easy, I'm still coming to terms with Android after decades of Blackberry and one failed iPhone attempt but I'm loving it so far.
The fast charge feature is amazing.

Not true. You can chose which sim for data. There is no need to swap them around manually.

Why do I know. Because I use it for work and personal

    You're right.
When I first got the phone the option to choose which SIM for data wasn't available, maybe resolved in a software update? Maybe I was sleepy...

Is anyone badly stuck waiting to order one of these? I'm thinking going back to the iPhone.

Have the official tempered glass from oneplus, two dash chargers and red otterbox with it.

    Tempted move it on.

I'll take the tempered glass and one charger if you are selling piecemeal.

Tempered glass doesn't cover the full screen, in case you didn't know

Lads quick question in regards to warranty what's the story if it's under warranty but it has been sold from the original owner how does returns work?

I know apple have no problem once the warranty is valid but don't know oneplus?

Edit: from reading the forums as long as you have the IMEI and original order number you are good to RMA once warranty is still in effect.

Having an issue with the insurance for my OnePlus. They have had my phone for over a month. They say the order numbers don't match. This is really frustrating as I purchased the phone at the same time as the insurance so I don't know why they are different. Anybody ever dealt with simplsurance before?

How's your Oneplus 3 after a month or two? Must say im using my OP3 as a daily driver and S7 edge as a back up phone. The dash charge and quick fingerprint scanner are the main advantages than the S7e.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 596 ✭✭✭Sync

I'm on 3.2.2 just got a notification that the 3.2.4 update is available. The fixes it listed haven't been an issue for me.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,639 ✭✭✭deafroadrunner

got the notification myself, having an issue trying trying to install it though. once the phone reboots to install it goes to twrp recovery mode and doesn't do the update. I probably have to do it manually i reckon

No issues after the update? Battery life has been excellent for me so I'm afraid of changing it!

Updated yesterday and now getting better battery life! On looking at the stats it seams to be Doze mode is working better with the phone not waking up once over a 6hr rest.
