On what station? Gay Byrne is on RTE 1 defending the Christian Brothers, ffs!
The station is called RTE News Now!

578 on Sky, don't know where it is on other providers.

    Still on the gymnastics.....

Is the coverage all over the shop this evening compared to the men's last night? I had no trouble keeping up with what was happening/who was leading last night, and I was full of wine..... can't keep up with it at all tonight and I'm stone cold sober!

And if the yanks are so far in the lead, how come we've seen so few of them perform?

Also on Radio 1 if people aren't able to tune in.

I wish it was possible to filter the gymnastics to only seeing certain countries. The US and the GB teams are so boring to watch compared to some of the Chinese gymnasts and that little Brazilian one.

+1 - and I'd include the Dutch in that list, I saw them in qualifying, and one of them tonight on the floor, they're lovely to watch.

Oh, definitely. I only just caught the Dutch girl on the floor an hour ago and she was sooo graceful.

They showed two or three of them in qualification on the floor, and they were all like that - less circus and more dance and grace. Lovely to watch.

RTE don't seem to be covering DOJ. Their coverage starts at ten...disgrace!

Not anymore, that ****ty soccer game has gone into extra time. They went full retard with showing that game on RTE rather than online or something.

I take it back about RTE. They showed it, albeit channel 578.

Unanimous decision - Joyce tried fierce hard, but utterly outclassed, imo. Pity

Yeah, but the picture quality is awful on the Sky platform, is it HD on Eir or Virgin? At least the BBC showed it in HD.

I disagree. Rd 2 and 3 close enough. Rd 1 clear for Selimov.

Joyce well beaten there. On top of Puspure's poor performance and the final outcome of the O'Reilly shambles it's been another poor day overall for Ireland.

As for O'Reilly - I don't want to see him wearing the Irish colours again. Apparently went and took a performance enhancing substance off his own bat, Cathal Lombard levels of idiocy from him.

What an ignorant and classless post. As well as empty.

Oh the irony - an American gymnast using Russian dance music for her floor routine - you wouldn't have seen that in the 70's, hah! :D

    Stupid question alert.....

Do these all have to perform again for the individual medals, or are their scores here somehow translated for the individual competition???

O’Reilly becomes the first Irish Olympic competitor to be sent home for a doping offence.

and found out to be a liar. ruined the boxing camp.

So go correct your original classless post then. I don't disagree with this post.
