Having the craic driving around the Liffey on a bus. Finally got a Drowzee and a Magikarp, and several of them, plus loads of Poliwags. At once stage my Nearby list had six silhouettes!

Just left Dublin centre now and it's an absolute wasteland.

Level 20 now. CP 40 Weedles breaking out of Ultraballs even after a raspberry. Bit of a piss-take to be sure.

My highest CP Pokemon is an 813CP Hypno and i only evolved him from a 380CP Drowzee this morning and had to pwer up the Drowzee to that level to begin with

I'm level 21, at level 20 I caught a 1200 Magmar, but that is rare.

Yesterday I hatched a 10km egg and got a 420 CP Onix.
Today I hatched a 2km and got a 495 CP Pikachu.
This game a crazy.

I'm taking a lot more time to evolve, I evolved Poliwags, Nidoran (male and female), oddish, weedle and bellesprout. But after I evolved them to their 1st evolution, I managed to catch a stronger one. So now I do not evolve until I can go straight to the highest form.

I have 2 580+ Drowsee's, they should give me pretty good Hypno's.
I'm closing in on 200 Magiccarp candies.

Curiosity. I'm seemingly unable to hold on to low level Pokemon (Rattata, Pidgey, Weedle) with regular Pokeballs now so I tried with an Ultraball. He still broke out!

Doesn't look like I'll be progressing to level 21 at this rate...

sayin earlier i was having the exact same issue no issue holding higher CP pokemon but anything under 100CP is a pain in the hole to keep hold of ... level 24 now

If you're not able to catch anything at all. It sounds like a soft ban. After a few hours you should be able to catch again as normal.

Whoah, Carlow has nothing at all. And what passes for a point of interest for a pokestop... Sorry Carlow I love you anyway.

Low level pidgees keep escaping from my kids with a level 6 account so it's not limited to higher levels.

BTw I saw Tar's Hypno earlier

Waterford is packed compared to Carlow, I was expecting Carlow to be someway decent jaysus :pac:

From what I know, if you're soft banned the mons always flee after the 1st ball. From the looks of it they're able to throw multiple balls at the mons then I don't think a soft ban is the issue here.

The last one probably the most common.

Source? I find it unlikely that PokeNiantendo would ban me from playing from the Luas (which goes faster than 50kph in certain sections), bus or train.

What a day - started last week only level 10. Caught a magmar, nidorina, vulpix, jynx (plenty around balls bridge) and then my two eggs hatched got machop & diglett. Went up two levels - using insence whilst on Dublin bus in the city centre was carnage

Popped a lucky egg and did all my evolutions so finally reached level 23. Highlight was evolving an almost 600CP Dratini and it turned into a monster 2200CP Dragonite :eek:

Also evolved a 600CP Eevee and was hoping for a nice 1600CP+ Vaporeon but got a 1300CP Jolteon instead

Now I'm working on Gyarados. Already have 300 or so candies so not too far off.

Why didn't you do the whole renaming trick beforehand? I.e rename Eevee to Rainer then evolve it to get a Vaporeon.

That's what I did last night and got a 2100 or so Vaporeon beaut

I did, I named it to Rainer and rebooted the app. Even did loads of other evolutions first before I went onto Eevee. Still no joy

From googling, it looks like it's only guaranteed to work for your 1st Vaporeon, Flareon and Jolteon. I already evolved another Vaporeon a while ago so that may have been the problem.

Nope, not soft-banned, just went through a ridiculously bad spell for break-outs. No amount of sweet, sweet curveball "Excellent!" action helped at all. Seems a bit better now.

Hypno and Golduck the ones who got away. Edit: Hypno didn't really get away but I managed to run out of data

Seen 88 caught 88. Though a lot of them are evolutions.

caught 86 seen 88. that will move to 91/93 when i do a few more evolutions

Seen 95 caught 93. I have a few evolutions though that I'll do over the weekend which should get me to about 96 or 97.

Ninetails and Golem are the two that got away.

Ninetails was the worst. Threw about 23 balls at the guy and every friggin razzberry. Broke out and then dashed

51/52 pikachu got away during a game crash at lvl 3. I'm lvl 18 now and haven't seen another since not even a shadow.
