What a day - started last week only level 10. Caught a magmar, nidorina, vulpix, jynx (plenty around balls bridge) and then my two eggs hatched got machop & diglett. Went up two levels - using insence whilst on Dublin bus in the city centre was carnage

From what I know, if you're soft banned the mons always flee after the 1st ball. From the looks of it they're able to throw multiple balls at the mons then I don't think a soft ban is the issue here.

If you're not able to catch anything at all. It sounds like a soft ban. After a few hours you should be able to catch again as normal.

sayin earlier i was having the exact same issue no issue holding higher CP pokemon but anything under 100CP is a pain in the hole to keep hold of ... level 24 now

I'm level 21, at level 20 I caught a 1200 Magmar, but that is rare.

Yesterday I hatched a 10km egg and got a 420 CP Onix.
Today I hatched a 2km and got a 495 CP Pikachu.
This game a crazy.

I'm taking a lot more time to evolve, I evolved Poliwags, Nidoran (male and female), oddish, weedle and bellesprout. But after I evolved them to their 1st evolution, I managed to catch a stronger one. So now I do not evolve until I can go straight to the highest form.

I have 2 580+ Drowsee's, they should give me pretty good Hypno's.
I'm closing in on 200 Magiccarp candies.

Having the craic driving around the Liffey on a bus. Finally got a Drowzee and a Magikarp, and several of them, plus loads of Poliwags. At once stage my Nearby list had six silhouettes!

Just left Dublin centre now and it's an absolute wasteland.

Just spent 11 balls on a CP 93 weedle. 6 of which he broke free from, 4 he headered away and 1 that was just a **** throw from me.

The only high level Pokemon I've caught is a 700 Lapras and that was when I was a much lower level than I am now. I'm level 15 now and all I'm getting is crap. The game is really starting to annoy me at this stage.

Heads up for Android users: If you're running Lollipop or above you can use Screen Pinning to lock the Pokémon Go app in the foreground so you don't accidentally leave the app when in your pocket. You can even lock the screen whereby tapping the power button will bring you straight back to the app without unlock PIN, etc.

seeing a really wierd issue since the last update , basicly im catching high CP pokemon first time every time literaly anying above 400CP im gurenteed if i hit it first ball i get it with a regular pokeball , but i cant hold on to low CP pokemon at all , for example i took 5 balls to catch a 10Cp magic carp and every pidgy i find under 100 CP is taking 5 or 6 to catch and more of them are escaping all together .

anyone else finding this ?
