so you wish to see the culture of ireland changed ?

I am a big fan of diversity, especially in Ireland.
    If it weren't for diversity.
The Irish would still be eating bacon, cabbage and potato.

Ireland is already diverse and already has a very large muslim population too.

well no, if you propose a major change in social policy there has to be a good reason for it. you dont just do it for the craic.

Sorry but I thought it was self evident. Islam is a backward, primitive, repressive and often downright nasty ideology that is incompatible with western values.

Why we'd want to import that is beyond me Sir.

really , do is the menu in japan extremely limited ? , japan is in no way diverse compared to the usa or western europe

what is so inherently great about diversity , i realise liberals believe in it in the way devout catholics believe in transubutation but seriously , what is so inherently good about it ?

you dont think if the muslim population of ireland reached above 10% ( for example ) , the charechter of the nation would change ?

That's fair enough. Where's the cut off point though? Large areas in England have lost all semblance of native culture and are now like mini Arab states. We've got 100k of them already. Isn't that enough?

thats the thing about creeds ( diversity is a liberal creed ) , you just take it for granted that they are good , you never stop to think are they positive ?

Is the character of our nation set in stone? should it not reflect its citizens?

Japanese culture dates back thousands of years and has probably assimilated regional traditions from China, Korea, Vietnam etc, which is why it is so rich. There is some diversity. Japan borrows heavily from America and Europe.
It is not as diverse as USA and Western Europe but that's most likely because they have never had to rely very much on immigration since they have a strong and productive workforce.

are you saying if the muslim population of ireland reached a level where support for sharia law was a demand , we should put in place policy to reflect this ?

Why is it food is always used as a positive for multiculturalism?

as someone who grew at a time when spaghetti only came from a tin i welcome anybody who can open a decent restaurant.

Because if a white European enjoys spicy and exotic fruit and vegetables it shows as a major success for multiculturalism no idea why some people would use it as a benchmark ,

that is not what i'm saying at all. sharia law would be unconstitutional. the constitution can only change when a majority of the population are in favour.

why take the risk of allowing the conditions for the muslim population to reach a level where sharia law was demanded by the majority of the population ?

Because it's the only one they can come up with and after that they get a bit stuck?

Isn't a decent lamb tagine worth the odd massacre though?

Isn't sharia law already part of the constitutions in some non-muslim majority countries ? E.G Britain and Canada ? Or at least there is a major push for it.

if it takes two hundred years , its too soon

so we should ban all muslim immigration now then, just to be sure? should we ban all non-catholic immigration then?

we should strictly limit muslim immigration , no other religion is a major problem right now

its common sense , security is more important than political correctness , well to everyone accept the media

Much the same problems that us Irish were causing when the provos were bombing the Uk, killing turists in Holland lobing morters in Germany etc. At least the British Dutch Germans didnt make the logical fail of thinking that because the bomber is irish that all Irish are bombers.
