Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How are Burnley defence wise? I'm looking at a Heaton/Foster GK rotation from first glance. Hardly worth double defence there? Mee a goal threat normally?

How's the quality of opposition been though? I'm very wary of pre-season form - rarely has it translated into real season form!

Mee is a bit of a goal threat. Keane a much bigger one though. I reckon they will be solid enough defensively particularly at home. I wouldn't double up. Heaton is great value I think I'll be going a 1 keeper 5.5 and a 4.0 strategy and all 4.5 defenders. That's why Im on mee rather than Heaton.
Manual man quality of opposition not great but I expect gray to have a similar impact that ings had when he was at Burnley 10 to 15 goals. It will be all about having gray in your squad at the right time as he will undoubtedly go through spells of not scoring for weeks. He is a good player with a fair bit of pace.

Anyone else contemplating a punt on Negredo?

He's in my draft at the moment ahead of Grey

Absolutely. As I'm doing a team for the first few weeks only, I think he'll be in my forward 3 alongside Aguero and Ibrahimovic. Though Long is definitely under consideration too.

I'd pick Austin over Long if I was sure he would start games.

I have both VVD and Tadic in my team currently. How I'd love to see that goal and assist combo in GW1.

Ayew has another goal tonight. Although Swansea have been linked with Ulloa recently haven't they?

Did any lunatic stay up to watch Chelsea & Liverpool?

Particularly interested in Fabs role before he got his red & how Pedro did when he came on.

Just watched it there. Fab was deep alongside Matic. Assisted Cahill's goal from the corner. Of note, Kante didnt play at all though. Pedro didn't do a whole lot
