Order went from expected delivery of 23rd of July to 17th, despatch on 11th. Was ordered Friday evening. Anyone able to hazard a guess at when I would have it in reality - I see people are saying they get them sooner.

Have any of you had issues with LTE? I've heard it has had issues retaining LTE signal and often drops to H or H+.

I'm with Vodafone and I've never seen it drop below lte, I even get 4g+ which gives me speeds of 120mb, huge improvement from one plus one where I'd only get Lte the odd day

It will dropto H if your making a phone call (but so would every other phone as we don't have voice over LTE yet in Ireland so in order to receive calls and texts it has to drop)
Allso when looking under connections it's best to select your preferred connection as LTE and also tap the Always auto connect option after you do a network search and select LTE.

Just checked there and the dispatch date is now the 7th and expected delivery of the 11th. So that's come back 12 days in 24 hours and the order is now down as processing.

Mine moved from the 7th to 8th, is the processing the two of you mention the red writing over the estimated delivery?

It's just in red writing at the top right of the page, it used to say Pending Dispatch...fairly annoying!

I made sure when I ordered that everything I was getting was in stock. Had to get rid of the bundle with all the bits as the extra dash charger was out of stock and got rid of the Otterbox too as that wasn't in stock. Just went with the phone, black apricot cover, the power bank and the extra type C cable if that makes a difference.

Otterbox sell the cover from their site so no biggie really but they charge €5 more for it.

I only ordered the phone, no accessories. Ordered a cover on amazon on friday it's sitting in parcel motel atm.

Really don't give a toss about people's delivery details. Making it very difficult to actually get some infor about the phone.

How to people find the audio on it? Have heard it's grand headphone-less and pretty good (louder than expected) when driving headphones?

Well with no disrespect you can find that from plenty of reviews online.

It's nice to find Irish specific information here, particularly in regards to orders. Order processing is a hot topic.

Mine has now switched from the 7th July to 13th for dispatch. Gutted and I ordered on the 29th.

Strange, i ordered mine on the 30th and dispatch date has come down from 11th to the 7th and delivery from the 16th to the 12th.

    Standard shipping chosen.

I'm coming from the HTC One M8 and I was surprised by how good he sound is on it headphone-less.

Used it a bit over the weekend with the headphones and it's just as good as the M8

I'm more interested in what the average user thinks of it rather than a pro review. I don't need the kind of quality MKBHD does in speakers, camera.

As for the last million or so posts listing status, processing dates, shipment dates, delivery dates etc, what trends have any of you identified that are in any way useful to anyone?

Actually, are there any compatible ear phones that will work with the OP3? (for calls/mic also). My Apple eapbuds didn't work with my OPO so i assume its the same with the OP3?

Good to hear, thanks! I'm currently using the OPO on Vodafone aswell and am considering upgrading to the OP3.

Not looking to identify trends, simply comparing. If you have no interest in it, don't involve yourself with that part of the discussion? I'm sure other people will reply to your post regarding your topic.

Reading delivery information is as boring as 'fk' its actually terrible when a Thread about a new device devolves into delivery date nirvana.

Heres a train of thought, they phone will come in the time frame your One Plus login says it will. Just like buying something off Amazon.

I for one would prefer to get back to the device talk, but sure we could just have a delivery thread for the next few weeks ZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Id imagine all of them would. But Apples a totally different ball game, they do their own thing when it comes to compatibility. making connections micromms off so that other things wont work.

There's apparently no point basing anything off the order info under "my orders" on the site at the moment. According to one of the main OP staff on their forums last week, those dates only change automatically, and aren't a true indication of where orders are. Or at least that was the case last week when they were trying to catch up with the number of orders that had been delayed from the first few days of the phone being released.

My own order from June 14th had been down as being shipped on June 19th until just last week, when it changed to being shipped today. It ended up actually being shipped last Wednesday in the catch-up shipments.

Two orders from the weekend of accessories, using the two €10 delay-apology coupons I received, were down for being shipped around the 22nd of this month. Both have already been shipped. So that part of the system really doesn't seem reliable at the moment.

OnePlus 3 is getting a big update: sRGB, improved RAM management, and more
    From Android Authority
OnePlus is rolling out a big update to Oxygen OS, bringing sRGB mode, improved RAM management, and better GPS performance to the OnePlus 3.

This is the OTA that OnePlus promised it would roll out to users in response to criticism about the phone’s color rendition and overly aggressive memory management. The changes were initially rolled out to reviewers through a special Oxygen 3.1.4 OTA on June 23.

    Read more: OnePlus 3 review

Oxygen 3.2 is rolling out now to the public – there’s no official announcement just yet, but multiple users on the OnePlus forums reported they received it (via AndroidWorld).

Here’s what the changelog for the update, which is a sizeable 396MB, reads:

Enabled sRGB mode in developer options
    Improved RAM management
    Improved GPS performance
    Enhanced audio playback quality
    Updated custom icon packs
    Fixed some issues with notifications
    Improved camera quality/functionality
    Fixed some issues in Gallery
    Latest Google security patches
    Fixed bugs in Clock/Music apps

According to commenters on the forum, the update also fixes an issue that caused the magnetic sensor on the OnePlus 3 to misfire, causing problems when using the phone with Cardboard style VR headsets.

Where can a gentleman who has rooted their phone, such as myself, get an OTA these days? :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,815 ✭✭✭Irish Gunner

Ok going to get one of these and get rid of the one plus one. However going to hold off on purchasing until those friendly developers over on XDA come up with a good rom.

Where is the best place to purchase this phone?

If you want to get the official update (for non-rooted phones) follow these directions from a thread on the OPO forums. My download is almost finished!
Those who are waiting, you can download free Snap VPN from Play Store - Trigger German connection - check for updates - Start downloading and disconnect from VPN. Download will continue and you will skip the waiting process.
