Any views on the update? Fingerprint sensor much improved but battery life definitely worse.

My battery life is definitely better Maybe 45mins give or take 10mins.

Im being pestered about "screen overlay" and permissions. Sometimes notifications don't set off my notification tone and LED, until I press the unlock/lock button and I get a load of notifications immediately then.

My battery has gotten alot worse since update, went from 27% today down to 5% in the space of 3 hours with no use. Data, wifi and location were off :eek:

Anyone else have problems with notifications not going off as they should (tone and vibrate) ? ? ?

Sometimes mine only go off after I click the unlock button

Go into sound and notifications and check the setting for when device is locked. It should be set at Show all notification content. Yours might be Hide sensitive notifications.

I have a op2, and I love it so there are no plans to upgrade as of yet. My mum wants to buy one though.

Thanks. Had a look and "When device is locked" said "Hide sensitive notification content". I hope thats it. "Show on lock screen" were ticked on in the apps that I wanted to have it on.

Im i the only one having problems with battery level? Only 12% now after 12 hours. Im not even using it that much It says android system using 28% of my battery. I loose nearly 10% battery over night too!!!

Mine seems ok.

6 Hours 20 minutes screen on time.

Looks like it's constantly looking for a phone single.

Edit: my wifi has been on while phone sleeps even tho i have it off on the drop down bar??

Go to Settings - WiFi - Three Dots - Advanced - Keep WiFi on.

Also check your apps and see what have permissions to keep your phone awake.

I bought my plus2 a few months ago, and back then the battery life was nearly two days. Now, I get less than a day. Any tips?

If you've updated to Marshmallow there's a good chance your wifi is staying on while your phone should be asleep and that will eat your battery. My missus has that with hers but it's not on mine. I'll be looking to sort hers tomorrow morning so if I figure it out I'll let you know.

Im having an issue with contacts. In my contacts list theres a load of contacts, that are email accounts or just names from my Outlook account, in addition to my actual contacts list that are linked to my Google account. Anyone have any idea how to get rid of them/unsync them?

Well you can filter the list for a start. Click on the 3 dots at the top right corner of the contacts app and contacts to display.

If you access your gmail contacts through your laptop you can merge duplicates etc. You can make one contact out of multiple numbers and emails for the same person. Like iv a mate in England and iv his irish number, English number, email and house number all wrapped up in one contact.

Has anyone lost vibrate since the latest update?

EDIT: Actually I just fixed it by flipping the switch on the left for priority/silent etc and back to normal. Now it seems grand.

Anyone have any problems with notifications since the update? Since I updated, I'm not getting WhatsApp or snapchat notifications for instance on and off. Sometimes I get them as normal, sometimes I don't. So when I open the WhatsApp application, I can see the new chats. Same for snapchat. Other times, when I get a new WhatsApp or snapchat, the notification works as normal. Can't figure it out. Tried changing the notification settings but no luck.

20% battery gone in 3.5 hours. Phone only in use 18 mins in that time. Thats pretty poor isn't it?
